I've gone to Arctic Circle a lot. In fact, my kids and I frequented this particular store because of the outgoing personalities and friendly faces several times a week, particularly for ice cream.
Today, however, marked our last visit. I pulled up to the drive-thru, not realizing others were in front of us until after I'd ordered. After waiting, without moving, for about 3 minutes for two cars ahead of us to move, I pulled out of line and went in.
The crew appeared to be struggling and skeleton. A short, round, black girl with a lot of attitude snatched the $5 out of my hand and I reached in my open purse to grab some change. I set the change on the counter but she took off to the window, returning with some bills and a handful of change.
After witnessing the change on the counter, she huffed, grabbed the money and stomped off to the window to return with my correct change. Lightheartedly I said, "Looks like a skeleton crew tonight, huh?" But she ignored me and turned back around with a few sloppily made cones that were extremely small. (Usually they're too big!)
I said, "Thank you, have a great night and keep up the good work." I took the cones without complaining about the size and the fact that one of them literally needed to be turned sideways to keep from falling off.
I figured she was having a bad night until she turned around, gave me a look, and left without saying a single word the entire time--treatment I can get for free elsewhere.
This particular establishment was a high five, six months ago, but over the past few months its on a gradual downward spiral. I'm not sure why, but we're not sticking around to find out.

Read moreI highly recommend not going to this location, each time we have gone they some how miss giving some of our food that we paid for. And of course those times we haven't checked the bag because they are unbelievably slow so how the heck could they miss something when it takes them 20 minutes to get our food out! So anyways, the last time we visited this lovely location they forgot our sons mini corn dogs, by the time we got home and realized it was 15 minutes to close for them, and we decided not to have them remake the food, we decided to just call them. So I call and let them know we were just there and the mini corndogs didn't make it in the bag, all the gentlemen had to say was "oh, yeah they are sitting right here on our counter" so by his statement I said "okay, would you like us to come back and you can remake them?" "He said what I can do is put your name down and what your missing for next time you come you will just get that item for no charge" so I said "great thank you and gave him my name." So a month later here I am to get those no charge mini corn dogs and the obnoxious children working said they don't have that item down as someone to pick up at no charge! So once again I paid for those mini corndogs but at least I got them this time! I don't understand how they are still in business, considering this has happened on more than one occasion! Worst fast food place I've ever been to, and I will NEVER go...
Read moreI've been here a couple of times but tonight was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a fast food joint. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers without pickle because I'm allergic to them. When I got home I had to call the store because there was in fact... pickles... on my sandwiches. When the lady answered the phone she was very rude. She didn't want to replace my food at first because it didn't say "no pickle" on my order and therefore I failed to mention no pickle to them..... so after about 5 minutes of arguing with her all to get the correct food she finally agreed to replace just my sandwiches. But in order for her to replace my sandwiches I needed to 1) bring in my receipt 2) BRING IN THE FOOD THEY MESSED UP ON and 3) I needed to be there today or else "there's nothing they can do about it". I asked if she can replace my cold fries and she again told me no because they didn't mess up on them..... so we finally came to an agreement 10 minutes later and I went to the store. When I got there they tried to change me for THE FOOD THEY MESSED UP ON and then tried to tell me that they do not have a note saying they will replace my food. Finally after 10 minutes of waiting, I got my food.... i should not have to go through any of this just to get food that they messed up on!!!! Next time I'll gladly drive a little further to go to the Roy store. I've never had...
