Giovanni's Pizza — Restaurant in South Point

I have been coming to Giovanni's in South Point for decades. I even made sure to visit when visiting home during the 30 years I lived in Florida and considered it the best pizza and subs around. HOWEVER, my last few visits there have been a big disappointment. The service was sub par each time with little to no attention. We were not asked for our pizza wants, we waited 15 minutes for salads which were incredibly small and sparse. Our drinks were not refilled promptly. We had to go to the counter and ask for items to be brought out. The waitress while not surly was unfriendly each time. We will be taking our business to a different location. Decent buffet, wish they would of had more out. There was 2 pizza choices. Food was cooked well and seemed fresh, just not many options. Waitress was friendly. Priced a little high, $9.50 and I ate 2 small piece of pizza. Went back for seconds and there was only 2 pieces on the warmers. And the spaghetti and lasagna was empty. It was 1230 so I would expect more out for lunch. Overall...

Wow I must this is one of the Best pizza's I have had..They have done it..A NY style pizza with a SOFT CRUST..Mmmm so tasty too...The very friendly staff will get you fixed up right away with a smile..I was getting my pizza to go and hey I noticed they BAKE THE FRIES...That's gotta be great too..Next time I'm there I'll try those as well...
