Usually my experience with this business has been positive for the most part. I enjoy the fact that the wait times for carry-out are always very reasonable. But be careful what you wish for... this last time I called and ordered a chicken Alfredo bread bowl with extra chicken and extra alfreado sauce, as this is 99% the only thing I ever order. This time I picked up my ordered and left to go to work 10 mins away. I still had time before my shift started so I opened up my box to start enjoying my dinner. Some of the chicken was still a little cold, and alot of the dough for the bread bowl wasn't even cooked (see photos). I called to complain and was immediately given an attitude by the person I spoke with, who claimed I had previously complained about a pizza I ordered there (I never order pizza...EVER). I spoke calmly as I was badgered by the employee or manager I was speaking to. Then was told they could give me a credit for the same thing in the future or I could come in and get my money back. I obviously didn't have time to go back as my shift was about to start and I would be busy for the next 10 hrs. So I went the rest of the night without eating and trying to get the taste of raw dough out of my mouth. Very disappointed in the quality of the food this time but what upsets me more is the way I was treated when I called to bring the issue to their attention. I order from this place at least 3 or 4 times a week.... well this encounter has definitely changed my mind and I'm not sure I want to give this Domino's my...
Read moreOk so I'll start this off saying I am not a food critic, but I do know what good pizza tastes like. It's been a number of years (and you don't need to know how many) since I've ordered a Domino's pizza, but I drive by their shop in South Portland now and then and thought"what the Hell I'll give them another try." What a surprise I got. First off ordering on my phone is was so easy even a monkey could do it. AND as a bonus they give you the option to use a coupon to discount the amount of your pizza and whatever you order with it. Brilliant marketing move Domino's. Ok so enough of this... let's move on. I went there and it was ready at the time indicated, paid, and left. Nice not to have to wait around. The pizza itself... It was very good! Yes I did said it... very good. The crust and base was slightly doughy but nothing to make you think it wasn't cooked enough, and it had taste!! Some places make you think you're eating melted cheese and sauce on cardboard but not this one. The sauce was not overly spicy but not bland either. Hard to explain that one in words. And plenty of toppings that I ordered was added. So here's the bottom line... It appears that someone in Domino's corporate headquarters has listened to people's suggestions and has acted on it. It was a really good pizza at a VERY good price. Had one lately? I'd suggest giving them...
Read moreI updated my old review. It has been a while and I have started ordering delivery online again. They have made some changes for the better. I now get everything I ordered with no mistakes. The food that I order is always good. The only thing I have an issue with is the Hawaiian pizza with ham and pineapple on it. I first tried this pizza from a Dominos in Virginia many years ago and loved it. I just recently decided to order one. Although it was good it did not taste the same as I remember. The pineapple was not very sweet and I could not taste the ham hardly at all. The ham looked like the lunch meat you buy at a deli. I do not think I will be ordering another Hawaiian pizza any time soon. Then again maybe it was just me. I do not like writting bad reviews unless it is really deserved. The Hawaiian I got was good but not what I remembered. In all this domino's is great on it's deliveries, the food is good, and the drivers always have a smile and are pleasant to interact with. As for in store service I could not say. In all I have...
