McDonald's — Restaurant in South Windsor

I haven't been here in over four years, even though this is the closest McDonalds to my home. Why? A few years ago, I ordered a large ice coffee and all that I asked was for it to be made dark with four sugars; however, I was handed a nasty light and sweet coffee. My reaction was to polity ask the gentleman to remake my coffee. What was his reaction? He leaned out the "drive-thru" window, spread his arms out like he wanted to fight me, and swore at me. Odds are this tattooed up jerk doesn't work there anymore; but, I most certainly will NEVER go back to this MCD. Yes, I understand that he is probably gone, and it's unfair to nail this entire restaurant with a bad review, so please take that into account when you read this. Everyone else that I've dealt with here in the past was nice, and the food was OK; BUT, once again, I don't need to be treated like that...

Here they do not pay attention!!! I went through drive tru with my grandson ask for him how he wants a happy meal cheeseburger no onions add bacon and instead of soda he wanted small vanilla milkshake... pay for the meal it was $7.dollars and some change and when we leave I ask my grandson to please open the cheeseburger to see if he have it like he want it... and guess what it was just a regular cheeseburger with onions and no bacon and they had charged me 79cents for it.. so I had to go around to the person I pay and gave him the cheeseburger and tell him so, he only said I'm sorry and change it.... I told him pay attention next time because I had pay extra for what I wanted.... and left.... what a chame!!!! I wouldn't come...

Closed when they’re supposed to be open. It’s only 10:45 p.m., sign is off, parking lot lights all off. Inside lights on, drive-thru menu board lit, so I tried going to speaker & yelling “Are you open??” No response. I went up to the door to verify that they hadn’t changed their hours—it still says the drive-thru should be open til midnight. Looks like they’re long gone—don’t see anybody even in back, kitchen area. I’ve had the same problems other people have mentioned at this McDonald’s in the past, too—mistakes in orders, attitude. Honestly this not being open annoys me more because there aren’t any other food places open nearby.

Correction: when I went around the building to leave I did see one...
