This was a sad, unfortunate experience. Nothing went well. We ordered a medium burger and it came from the kitchen raw. We had to send it back. The shepherd's pie was so bland. But the clam chowder was overly salty; I could feel the salt granules crunch in my mouth and then dissolve. Our service was terrible. We were told to sit anywhere, and a waitress came and took our order. We only saw her once the rest of the night: when she brought us our food. Never again. Speaking of bringing food, I had to flag down waiters to ask about our food's status. I had to flag them down again to tell them the burger was raw. Both times, a waiter (Jeff) who was not our original server came to help us. Jeff was incredibly apologetic and went above and beyond what he needed to do to help us with our order and check. I agree with Tom C's review. This place is fast progressing DOWNHILL. The owner very obviously does not care about treating his customers well or with any respect. All he cares about is collecting cash from the Keno crowds that come here to play. The food served here is pretty awful as well. One of the barmaids with glasses and a long ponytail (Michaela) has a particularly nasty attitude and treats customers like they are a bother. Unless of course you're one of the Local Males she knows shooting pool, she has no time for you. Michaela poured me a draft beer that had (I kid you not) about two inches of foam on top. When I asked her to please fill the glass as I pay for a full beer and not 1/3 foam, she glared and gave me a nasty attitude AND ultimately refused to fill the mug to the level normally expected. Horrible experience. Me and a few friends went here for drinks last night. The bartender, a skinny middle aged woman with dark brown hair, berated all of my friends about our IDs, especially my boyfriend, who had gone through significant weight loss so there was a difference in his face. I understand some questioning as we’re young but jesus christ, we were interrogated. She rudely took our drink orders, forgot one of them and came back to ask what it was again. Upon bringing us our drinks she immediately slammed a bill down on the table. We never said we were ready to pay, it was our first round, and we never said how we were splitting it.
