StackerZ Deli & Coney Island — Restaurant in Southfield

The best double-baked rye in Southfield - soft interior, slightly crunchy (but not TOO crunchy) crust, and not sliced too thickly. This is also the only deli where I will occasionally pay extra for an onion roll (they grill theirs on the outside, so that the crusts are browned and a bit crisp, but the interior stays soft). The corned beef and pastrami are pretty good quality, though you'll probably find they're a half step down from Star or Vineyards, so it's sort of a bread vs. meat tradeoff. It's worth noting that their sandwiches are a dollar or two cheaper than the 'other' places, but they seem to give you just as much meat, so there's some additional value as well. There's a big menu - they also make huge salads and good onion rings, along with the mandatory "Detroit coney island fare" (coneys, burgers, gyros), but I rarely bother getting anything other than a deli sandwich and maybe a cup of chicken soup - that's why this...

What I always say is if a place can cook a burger correctly ...it's a good place and this place knows what they're doing.... the guy behind the line doesn't look like he's having the best day but he sure made my day... I started off small for my first visit with just a cheeseburger no sides and let me tell you that after eating just half of it I am stuffed....they even included a pickle... this place is definitely a high recommendation and if you're in Southfield and need a quick bite to eat you should try StackerZ. Love the food here . My go to meals are the loaded fries and I add chili 😋 or breakfast meals . Edited review: my family usually comes in almost every weekend on Saturday but Google never asked me for an update so I decided to do one myself. I absolutely love it here. The food is so good and I love the customer service as well. I can honestly say I have been coming here for decades. Since I've worked at the Walgreens next door and the Easter seals clinic. Anyways back to Stackerz... So I ordered the chicken wings 🐔 🍗 and waffle 🧇 this time. I was not disappointed . My brother and son ordered breakfast skillets . The chicken was fried to perfection 😁. The waffle 🧇 was crispy but not dry . I look forward to spending time with my family and having a good breakfast...
