I’m still not very sure what was the reason that we didn’t get food after a long wait. Our friends asked them if we can order our food and bring it to table by ourselves so that we didn’t have to separate our order because we’re a big group. They said ok and our friends asked if that was inconvenient for them or not they said no that’s ok. So we ordered our food like our friends at 1:29pm. Half an hour later the friend who ordered after us even got his food just not us. Every one in that restaurant got their food even the ppl who wasn’t there when we ordered our food. I went up asking where it was for three times. They said they’re making it, pointing to two empty boxes for sliders. I was very unhappy because our friends all finished their food and we haven’t even got ours. And we were going to delay them. I asked for a refund bc we want to go to restaurants that can give us food. I don’t understand why a high school girl got pissed and argued with me then said “I’m not gonna argue with you” then went to the kitchen with anger. None of them said sorry but only said we got too many orders. I mean when we got to the restaurant it was almost empty. Then we left for other places but came back to tell our friends that we’re going somewhere else for food. Then this same girl got caught talking shit about us in front of other customers. They came to us saying our door was ready at 2:15pm. Everywhere we go we leave a 18% to 20% tip but this time it’s our friends group decision. But all our friends got their food with no problem they were sweet to them asking if they needed ketchup, just us left out and we missed the golf and group hanging bc of that. I work in the service industry and never got tipped but I won’t serve my clients according to my preference or only when I’m free. And every one respects me so I never thought I’d be discriminated against by a high school girl. I did not starve her and couldn’t think of a reason why she was mad. Maybe bc I complained in front of other customers about never getting my food? But that’s the truth tho. If you don’t want complaints it’s very simple, just give us the hot dog and sliders, or at least start cooking within half an hour? Maybe bc I look young and nice that’s why they thought it wasn’t a big deal to neglect my order compared to others? And I am easy to deal with? But I actually stood up telling them this is not ok? I checked the comments and it seems a common problem and who ever replied is 60% of the time rude. After my complaints and multiple checking, our food was ready at 2:15 pm, while we ordered at 1:29pm. For a hot dog and sliders lol. Ok yes you can prioritize other customers but don’t do it to an extent that actually starve us? No one told us that others are more important than us and we can’t eat lunch until 2:15. Yes we got our refund back but we drove from westchester and waited there for almost an hour for NOTHING but hunger and discrimination. Please be careful about who...
Read moreLooked for mini golf for me and my family on a Saturday and came across this place. When we got there, the parking lot looked packed as well as the people waiting in line was long. I went to ask the worker there how long of a wait to tee off was and she said about half an hour. I have 3 younger kids and I knew they'd be impatient, but despite the above mentioned we decided to stick around.
Glad we waited! The tee off seemed less than half hour. Even though there were lots of people it seemed to move at a fair pace. The landscape and waterfalls were a sight to see and the courses were fun and challenging. Even though it was hot and sunny there was plenty of shade and gazebos to sit in.
After we finished the 18th hole we knew we were going to eat so tried out the Watefront Grille. You seat yourself and a server comes by to give you menus and to take your order. Our server Mackenzie (I hope you're reading this haha) was real friendly and helpful, giving us such great service. The food order came out nice and hot! Even my son wanted another order of their fried dough because it was SO good! We also had the buffalo sliders, the habenero wings and brisket burnt ends sausage. The kids got fried dough and kids hot dog. All amazing, I'd just go there to eat if not interested in playing a round.
They also have a hidden playground wooden pirate ship in the side back which the kids enjoyed afterwards. The only thing we didn't try was the ice cream shop since we were so full from lunch, so I guess next time!
All in all really loved going here would definitely recommend. Please do not get so discouraged by the packed lot, that is only minor thing (only maybe because it's a weekend), but the...
Read moreThis location is easy to get to and located near several other restaurants. If you like great landscaping with relatively easy golf holes, this is your place. They've put a lot of money into wood structures, waterways, and maintaining the gardens. There's even a section with herbs! Many times, you can see actual frogs in the pond (not just the nearby statue). They gave a section for kids afterwards where you can play on a wooden train or pirate ship. There's a gazebo with a round table inside it. There's at least a half dozen picnicking tables up on a knoll. On site food is 3 choices: beer (sometimes with pizza) for the adults, an ice cream section, and a grille. At the grille, seating was nice, prices were low, and wind attempted to blow away our napkins. We came here midday on a September Saturday and the crowds were steady but not overwhelming. Since it was the end of the season, there are a few minor repairs needed. Worn out wood borders were the most common interference (twice). One other downfall is that the mini golf ($9/adult on weekends and weekday evenings) is cash only. Food takes credit. Not sure why they'd rather have you use an onsite ATM than just pay for all by credit...
