Cozy's Dockside — Restaurant in Southport

We called ahead just to be sure the restaurant was open, and that outdoor seating was available because we were bringing our pup. Then we traveled 40 minutes by boat to get there. I walked in to the hostess area to arrange for a table while the remainder of our party were getting out of the boat. There was a girl behind the bar who asked me if we were just arriving. I said yes and she replied, in the rudest tone possible, that they were not seating any more people because they were so overwhelmed. I literally found Cozy's on a random drive while vacationing in Boothbay. OH MY...what a place. I travel all over with my dog Axel and we love to explore new locations and dine at pet friendly places. I couldn't have been more impressed with the professionalism of the waitstaff and their attention given to my dog and the other dogs on the deck. Axel scored himself a pup patty, perfectly cooked with a huge bowl of fresh water. Jeanne went up and beyond to accommodate my boy. ( And her suggestion of a lobster BLT to me was spot on !) This place is amazing!! My wife and I traveled from South Florida to the area for vacation. By far these were the best onion rings and burgers we’ve ever had. The desserts were delicious! The service was top notch, the waitress was super attentive, and it was impressive to discover that the business was new and opened recently! Definitely want to go again!!

10/10 would recommend!
