TL:DR - Tasty food for the price - the beans and rice are the star players here.

Had been meaning to check this place out for a while, so I decided to stop by to do a take-out order for dinner. Their website online ordering system doesn't have any descriptions for menu items, so I went inside to take a look. The décor is colorful, and the folks there are welcoming and friendly. There's ample seating, and a bar area, too, even though they do not serve alcohol (though you can eat at the bar).

Ended up ordering Combo #6 - Burrito (Carnitas), Enchilada (Steak?), and Cheese Quesadilla. The menu says burritos have pico di gallo, lettuce, and sour cream on the side (vs. inside the burrito), and then are smothered in queso dip. When I asked for the pico and lettuce to be put inside the burrito, the server told me they don't do that because it makes it too soggy. So I asked for it on the side. It was a generous portion of food for around $20; enough for two meals. After a short wait while watching a Spanish sitcom, my food was ready, and I headed home.

The burrito: spoilers: smothering it in queso dip also makes it too soggy. Next time I'll ask for the pico and lettuce to be inside, because holy guacamole, I had to eat this with a knife and fork. The pork tasted like pork, but a little plain. The beans and rice were tasty. The queso dip was delicious, albeit messy. Also: they never gave me any pico or lettuce on the side, which was disappointing.

The enchilada: this might have been steak? Pork? Again, the meat was not seasoned very much, so it was hard to tell. The sauce was kind of just there, too, so I probably wouldn't go out of my way to get one of these again.

The quesadilla: it was a mini cheese quesadilla. The cheese was flavorful. The tortilla was soft. That's about it.

Beans & rice: for some reason it came with beans and rice on the side. Wow. I am really glad it did, because they were absolutely delicious. They were gone before I was done with anything else. If you get ANYTHING at this restaurant, be sure it comes with beans and rice. Even if you order beans and rice, get it with beans and rice. So. Good.

Random pots of sauce: the salsa was homemade, fresh, and slightly tart. I didn't use the guacamole. The brown (mole?) sauce was good, and the verde sauce had a pleasant little kick to it. These came with some warm tortilla chips, which wasn't on the menu, but a pleasant surprise in the bag.

Overall, tasty food for a great price. It's on the way home from work, so I'm planning on stopping again. I really can't say this enough: get the beans and rice. They were the best I've had in...

1/29/24: Went back again today for another late lunch early dinner and it was just as good as it was last time. The service was awesome. Food portions are still good. Everything was great. No complaints again. We both ordered a chimichanga combo plate which is really enough food combined for 3 or 4 people. It came out to be 46 dollars or 47 if you paid with a card. Which isn't bad for the prices around here. Still very happy. Will continue to come back when we can.

11/2023: My wife and I just went in there today for a late lunch/early dinner. Visually it doesn't look much different than the way it was with the previous management but good lord was there a difference in food and service. Service was good the woman who served us was very polite and kind. The food was piping hot and very good! We ordered the combination chimichangas which came with two chimichangas, and rice and beans. We left there so full! Portions were good for the price. Chips and salsa were complementary. Everything was great! Way better than when we went there almost a year ago. I dare to say they may have the best Mexican food in the county. Will definitely...

I have been holding out on making this review. When this place first opened, it was great. I loved it. I went almost every week for a few months. Food was delicious and everything was clean. Pleasant place. Since then, the general quality has declined. I once found hair in my food but even after that I still went back to give them the benefit of the doubt. I picked a little more carefully through my meal but still. A couple of weeks ago I walked in and the music was so loud it almost hurt my ears. I turned around and walked right back out. I decided to go back today. The music was still unpleasantly blaring. When I unraveled the napkin from my silverware, a bunch of crumbs fell out of it. Then I was handed an extra plate and spoon… which were caked in old, dried food. The only reason I gave two stars is because the lady who waits tables is very sweet. That’s pretty much the only good thing I have to say. So sad to me because in the beginning I was trying to so hard to get the word out. It was always quiet and I didn’t want them to fail. Now I don’t see how they...

These may be the friendliest people I have ever met! It was great to walk into a place and be greeted by all staff so sincerely and with smiles! Very patient and attentive, not to mention accommodating. The food was marvelous. So marvelous I dug right in and took pictures after 🤭. We will visit again when we are in the area. I recommend the Birria Tacos and a side of guac 🥑! That’s my fave! Prices are awesome especially compared to many other places we’ve visited. The portions will fill you so don’t underestimate the menu.

I had combo #5 this time. (Quesadilla, enchiladas and chimichanga) Was very good. I’ve been trying something new every time we order from them and so far I’m not disappointed just very full. Had ordered extra beans cause they are so good. First order was the chicken taco salad … Second was the 3 different tacos … Only recommendation is to add bigger sides and give more churros for dessert.
