Today we were passing thru town and looking for something to eat. Grits n gravy caught our eye. We were greeted by a very pleasant young man who we later found out they train the high school students on Saturday mornings. Everything we tried was delicious. We also had the pleasure of meeting lil “Tru” she must have been one of the worker’s daughters. She was absolutely adorable. She sat next to us and showed us her bubbles, and her music . Then we were invited to ms Keisha’s for some rice and chipotle followed by a sleep over! We shared bacon and I was reminded to bring my pajamas. This experience made our day! Read moreWe stumbled upon Grits and Gravy on our way home to Florida from Durhamtown. They have enough parking for trailers. When we walked in the food smelled amazing and everyone’s so happy to see us. We had the catfish, fried chicken, Mac n cheese. We got sides of neck bones and turkey wing to try. We got a coconut cake and a peach cobbler too. Their tea is great. They sang to someone for their birthday and made me feel right at home. Beautiful town, great food and even more beautiful PEOPLE. The decor was just adorable! From the cute serving trays to the fresh flowers, every little detail made the place feel warm and inviting. It had such a cozy atmosphere that made me want to stay and enjoy my meal a little longer. And I did! After I ate, I sat and sipped my coffee and watch out the window. Peaceful!
