Tnt Hot Wings — Restaurant in Spartanburg

September 7 around 5pm. Today, we visited the restaurant. It was our first visit and we excitedly went into the restaurant. We approached the young lady who was taking orders. She was rude. Every question that I asked she had a snappy comment for it. Another lady came to the front from the back and I asked how much was up slice of cake. She responded very rudely. I don’t know. I work in the kitchen. The young lady brought our food from the back and sat it on the counter and walked away. My husband and I asked each other. If that was our food to each other we responded, I don’t know. The young lady went to the back for a bit came back and proceeded to wait on another customer. I asked was that our food she said yes I asked her , how were we supposed to know that it was our food? She said that she called our name which if she did, it was very low because we didn’t hear it. That definitely could’ve been handled differently because she said whatever she said, and went back to the customer as if we had not even spoken to her about the issue This was my very first visit. If I could give zero stars that would be to much. I called in an order at 5:35 and was told the wait was 45 mins. At 6:45 the order still wasn’t ready and everyone in the lobby was complaining about the wait. One person was also told 45 mins and had been waiting an additional HOUR!! There were so many ppl in the lobby you couldn't even get to the front to check on the order status, or cancel the order. Long story short, 2 hours after the order was placed at 7:38 TNT called me-I declined. They called back from a blocked #. I answered that time because I wasn’t going to be harassed all night. The girl told me my order was ready and I needed to pick it up. I said it was placed 2 hours ago and I would not be picking it up. She threatened to put me “in their system” so they can charge me next time!!! What?? I worked it food services for 7 years and never would have had an attitude with someone or threatened to charge them next time after they waited over an extra hour! If anything I would have comped their meal or asked how I could make it right next time. Needless to say, they won’t be getting out...

Wingstop messed up, their online order system was down yet again so I decided to try a local owned place. Best decision for chicken I ever made, TNT has the meatiest freshest chicken wings I've had in decades. The fresh made sauces were the best around here, the hot was hotter than expected - not a bad thing - but we will likely try medium next time. The food tastes fresh made like someone actually cared about preparing it right. The place does not scream copy/paste franchise when you go in like most restaurants, feels like a proper local joint. My only complaint is the ranch and blue cheese dressing tasted like it came out of a bottle instead of made fresh and their celery portions were small and dried out, but I dont order chicken wings for the celery. Not only did they make it good they made it fast. I ordered online and in the time it took me to get there they had it ready. As long as the chicken stays this good they have gained another loyal customer. The rest of their menu looks very good, we will be trying some of the other offerings next...
