Just Burgers — Restaurant in Spencer

BEWARE OK, I want to start by saying, this place is way way too hot inside to be serving food.. this is July and its way hotter inside than outside. I am sitting here writing this post and I feel so terrible (coming from both ends) sorry but true.. I can hardly write this post because of this, but I don't want others to have to go though how I feel right now.

The ad about this place is misleading." It said cheese burger under $4 and showed a Cheese burger, fries, and a bottle of soda in the photo/video on social media. I ask the girl at the front about the cheese burger basket for under $5. She was rude when she said there's only one combo and it is $10 (Double Burger, Fries, Soda) plus you have to pay extra for that cheese.

so we ordered our combos asking for the onions to be grilled, mayo and their special sauce to be put on the side, and no pickles. She asked do you want cheese on them, and I said yes. She didn't say anything about the up charge for cheese, and said $22.81. I paid cash, and then she handed me my change and a beeper. Also note: There was a little chest for tips, but why do I tip if I have to order here, get my drink (with no refills), and then beeped to come back for my food.. really?!🙄

She then began to take the next order not telling me where the drinks are.. I asked, she points, I look inside to see three choices; HOT Coca-Cola, and HOT Fanta (grape and orange).. oh, and I think there was also HOT bottled water. We chose our HOT drinks and went to sit at the picnic tables in the hot sun, next to the hot highway.

We sit for the next 45 mins for 2 cheese burger and fries. If you didn't drink your soda while waiting, then it would now be hot due to the 45 min wait. Once we finally got our beep, we go get our food and walking back to the tables, sit down and open our order to find our burgers are not made right either, nor is there any special sauce on the side.. and the food happens to be the only thing that is not hot.

we wasn't going to sit between the two business with all the car fumes for another hour for them to fix the order. so i walk back in to ask the girl for sauce and she yells at the cooks to get it. They continued their chat instead of getting the sauce, making me to have to repeat the request. After going back out to where many people were waiting in their A/C blasting idling cars for their orders, we will also consume the fumes with our meal.

Admiring the view and smell of the booming dispensary sharing the parking lot, I wonder if the similar buildings all aligned with another are owned by the same people.

Ok, we're finally sitting down to eat our burgers, after taking off the pickles and such, they are so greasy that the little bottom bun is at this point paper thin, (like a tiny greasy sponge). Fries was not bad but could be fresher. We ate our food but didn't eat it all because it was just such a bad experience.

Went home and was sick all night and today I still feel so bad. And its 4th of July😥 I Will...

I'm thrilled to share my amazing experience at Just Burgers, a gem of a spot that's been crowned one of the top 5 best burger joints in Oklahoma! And for good reason - their burgers are simple, yet ridiculously delicious and affordable.

What sets Just Burgers apart is its cozy, no-frills atmosphere, where a dad and his daughters work together to serve up mouth-watering goodness. The menu is straightforward: burgers and fries, and they nail both every time. The burgers are made with fresh meat, smashed to perfection, and crispy on the edges. The fries are cooked to a golden, crispy perfection that's hard to resist.

But what really makes Just Burgers shine is its exceptional customer service. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and genuinely enthusiastic about serving up great food. And the prices? Unbeatable!

As someone who doesn't typically eat meat regularly, I was blown away by the quality and taste of the burgers at Just Burgers. I'll definitely be adding them to my rotation of go-to restaurants. If you're a burger lover like me, or just looking for a quick, delicious meal, Just Burgers is a must-visit destination. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

TLDR: I'll start by saying I was super excited to go here as I love smash burgers. Unfortunately, this establishment is a major letdown. I'm going to highlight things not to be harsh but to help and hope this establishment gets better.

Better food can be found at a gas station, workers are slow and show inexperience and will try to steal your money (always take your receipt if you pay cash).

Atmosphere: Dirty. Dust and dirt everywhere. Had some weird led lights strung out in the open for a nice tripping hazard in the lobby if you aren't paying attention. Felt like I was going to fall through the floor with how hollow the lobby floor is.

The workers: we were greeted and felt welcome. The young lady taking orders didn't seem to know the menu (nor did the lady owner), nor did she know how to take orders correctly or handle money. She was given a $20 bill and only gave coins and no bills back. I planned on giving a tip, but I guess she took it upon herself to keep it. (Only $2)

Experience: We ordered two Double Up's and two fries with no line. Took about 20 minutes. Everyone in the establishment looked lost and was super slow to do anything. The menu is so confusing that even the (lady) owner didn't seem to know it and stated she "will have to have her husband fix it."

Taste: Both Double ups were super small and not as advertised. The meat, which had very little seasoning, tasted like tacos. Both fries are underwhelming in taste...
