My family has lived in the area for decades but never stopped to check out this place. Today that changed.😉

This place has that old-fashioned homemade carmel. Yum! The good stuff. Loves the dark chocolate and milk chocolate carmels. I'm not a huge fan of truffles, but they were tasty, too. Looking forward to going back to try the pastries and coffee with maybe a side pick up of carmel for later. (Seriously, did I just say maybe? 😂)

I think it was a sign when some 7 year old kid handed us a bag to fill. (Does he work on commission?)

The gift selection is right up my alley, too.🥸 Heh heh!

The sweet lady who served us shared that she has three kids who went to school at MSU, Mankato...

This is a great little shop. The depth charge that I had was fantastic very rich and smooth. Honestly I was expecting kind of flat crappy coffee because that is often what one gets at any place that serves ice cream but I was pleasantly surprised. The ice cream selection is from Blue Bunny which is okay but not the best. They have a good selection of jelly beans from Jelly Belly and they have a number of puzzles and games and little magnets and things. The star of the show is obviously the chocolates which were fantastic you can select them from the counter or by pre-packaged gift boxes. We will be stopping again before we leave town....

We weren't in there very long but my kids are already in love with this place. We were in town for a weekend getaway and wanted to go someplace away from the resort we were staying at. We went in and picked up some candy for the kids and then two of the workers show my kids this massive brick of chocolate which absolutely made their day! They then gave them a couple samples of something they were making and my kids had the best time.

It's always cool when a business takes a little extra step to make it fun for children! Next time we're in the area we absolutely will be...
