I was delayed on a flight and given a hotel and food voucher from United. They put me at the Ramada and gave me 30 dollars in food vouchers. When I went to the hotel restaurant and asked how to use them I was greeted by what I would concierge one of the rudest people I've met in a long time. The manager of the restaurant acted like I was some poor soul looking for a free meal. Made it VERY clear that only food was paid for with the voucher. Then started whispering to the waitress behind the bar which I only heard part of but she was basically incinuating that I "Was one if them" what that mention I have no idea. When I asked the bartender what that mention she was somewhat embarrassed that I heard what was said and simply implied "She has to deal with that all the time and that I did not have her as a waitress so not to worry about it" I did not ask for to be stranded in Spokane for the day and certainly did not ask for food vouchers that the airline gave. I simply wanted to ask how to use them. She acted like I was some poor soul looking for a free meal and acted like a total spoiled bit#!. I WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. DO NOT STAY HERE. if you do I would NEVER recommend the restaurant. Manager made me feel like all I wanted was a free meal and had a spoiled brat attitude. If there was a way to post a negative rating I would. This will be the first time I have ever left such a negative...
Read moreIt isn't actually Remingtons anymore, we were told it's club something and under new management. It was the only food available at the airport at 7 pm on a Sunday, no table service order at the counter. One person working and he didn't seem like he wanted to be there which I understand. Limited menu and when we finally ordered two of the items we chose were out, there were only a couple tables that were not covered in dirty dishes and only two other customers in the place. No music or sound of any kind so we had to whisper in order to not have out conversation heard by the few other people there. Food was just terrible, I ordered a burrito plate that consisted of a dry tortilla wrapped around dry meat and raw onions. The only sauce available was ketchup. A bar customer came in and started watching videos on his phone a full volume so we had to listen to that while we waited. Watched several people come in and stand at the counter for 10 mins then leave. We came hungry and left hungry as the food was just terrible. Overcooked dry chicken strips chopped up on a salad, linguini Alfredo with way undercooked noodles. It was so bad we were laughing. It really shouldn't have been open at all.the bright spot was the friendly cook who...
Read moreThis restaurant completely underwhelmed me, especially given the price of the food.
First complaint is the hours. I’ve never known a hotel restaurant to close at 9:00 pm — especially on weekends. Guests have stuff to do during the days and evenings and not having a restaurant open til a reasonable hour is highly inconvenient. It amazes me that this is even considered a reasonable time to close. On two separate occasions I saw no less than 4 guests each night turned away (quite abruptly and rudely) by restaurant staff.
Second I had a food order that was wrong and I ordered at around 8:30 pm. When I took it back they tried to fix it but it was after 9 and the kitchen was closing down. On the remake they completely left off the meat on order. So I had to wait for someone to open the door (they tried to ignore me since it was after 9) and they said the kitchen was closed now and they couldn’t fix my order. So I had to wait almost 45 min after my family to eat my food only for it to be an incomplete order altogether.
The closing time, demeanor of the wait staff, and the capability of the kitchen are why this is a 1-star rating. It was a terrible and very...
