My score is a reflection of the service only, I think the food is fair. I placed an order after work late this week and drove to the "pick-up" window, there were only 2 cars in front. I waited about 8 minutes with the first car still at the "pick-up" window, so I drove around along with the car behind me and we both went inside to pick up our orders, which were both ready on the counter.
Once inside it took another 5-10 minutes because there was not enough of an item for the order of the 2nd car that was in front of me who had to get an adjustment to their total.
As I was talking to a friend earlier today, they mentioned ordering ahead from the same Marino's and had a similar experience with a single car in front taking an unusually long time and had to go in as well. It feels like a pattern within a small amount of time.
My complaint is that the "pick up" window might be being used to take orders and should be used only as a pick-up window for orders that have been called-in ahead of time. Is it a fact? Maybe, maybe not. But, it should not take 8 minutes for one car to pick-up an order let alone 3 people in one week to turn around, park and head inside to pick-up their pre-ordered meals because the wait at the window is too long, it's either cash or card and pick-up their food.
I ask that if your employees are taking orders at the window to not take orders any longer, have them suggest to those customers who want to place an order at the window to come inside and place their order and wait or take the order and have those customers park in a designated spot, wait for their order to be complete within a certain given time and either drive up again or go...

to begin with, the service is pretty slow. when i was there, there was a total of 4 people (including myself) sitting in the establishment. there was no service (no one approached or acknowledged us) for a good 10 minutes before one of my group members got up and asked for the plates (for the second time). i've never been to a pizza buffet (or any buffet, for that matter), that served you styrofoam plates. is this customary for some places?
(also, maybe i have a misconception about service at a buffet, but i've always known it to be that a waiter approaches you, takes your drink order, and then you scuttle off to get your own pizza. has it changed?
regardless, even if there was a "please place order at counter" sign on the door, there's no reason that it should have taken the staff ten minutes to give us three styrofoam plates after being asked at least twice.)
the pizza is greasy and a little suspicious. i mean, it was edible, but i only ate one slice of pepperoni-sausage pizza and a couple slices of the cinnamon sugar pizza. they did bring a fresh tray out before we ended up leaving, but i didn't want to try it.
the atmosphere is quite ... arid. there are visible repairs that need to be made.
just, overall, not a good time.

*I am editing my review 10mins later due to reading up on other reviews. Below is a response from the owner due to mask wearing concerns such as mine. All I have to say is wow what a response!
"6. Spring Arbor Marino's has always supported the local community, and SAU. We would never do anything to jeopardize our business, and relationships in that community, maybe you should keep that in mind when attacking a local business that supports you and your place of employment."
