I love trying new restaurants in the area and love writing great reviews but unfortunately I needed to make an exception due to the way I was treated here. I was told after driving to the establishment that they will not accept or honor any local flavor gift certificates even after you spent your hard earned money on buying the certificate. I was told flat out by the staff and owner that they don’t take them anymore which is odd since the local flavor explains to you in writing, once you buy the certificate that the merchant must abide by gift certificate state law. I was also well within my expiration date. After waiting 20 minutes the owner finally came out stood a foot away with his mask down and made a complete scene and made me seem like I was in the wrong when I was just trying to use a gift certificate that I purchased for this business at the correct location. I’m a local and never tried this bagel shop and was excited to try a new bagel shop and safe to say I’ll be informing all my friends and family to go elsewhere due to the way I was treated by the owner at this establishment. Sad to say, but they ruined my Sunday over a $20.00 gift certificate...
Read moreWanted to love this place so much. Tried it at least a half dozen times. It just seams that they have no clue on how to execute an order efficiently. The people making the bagels whether it is cream cheese, butter or a sandwich.... Are not allowed to start until the order is in the computer. Which it a whole process in itself. How about this.... Write the order on a ticket. Tear a copy off and hand it to the team so they can start making the sandwiches. Now as orders are in the process of being completed you can punch the order in the computer. Instead of the long line standing there fuming as they watch how no one is making anything because the staff are all waiting on the cashier, who either never knows how to use the computer, or they have to switch to the other one because it freezes up. So silly.... I really don't get it. It's Bagels... Come on!?!?
I really wanted you guys to be great. No complaints on the food. But everyone I bring there gets agitated by what they see happening and tell me... "Let's not make this mistake again".
Unfortunately, I...
Read moreA great new addition to the Spring Lake area breakfast option. The bagels they offer are nice and chewy and have a great crust on the out side. I've never had a blueberry bagel until this place and now it's my go to. Out of this world!! They also offer a french toast bagel which is definitely worth the try. I'd recommend getting it with the walnut & raisin cream cheese. Game changing!
They also offer lunch with a lot of hot sandwiches or deli meat options to choose from. And who doesn't enjoy a good sandwich on a good bagel.
I have eaten at every bagelry in this area and I can say this is a shop is worth coming to.
Sometimes they can be slow, but because it's a new place, this can be overlooked. There maybe some kinks to be worked out. I'll reassess in a few months once their...
