We went here last friday night around 630. Hadnt heard much but were excited to try a new place. We were a party of 5 and quoted a 40-50 minute wait. The waiting area is adequate and we were able to have a seat on the entry bench. After we had been waiting around 30 minutes a large party came in and the owner Ted came out of the kitchen to greet them and then made a loud show of telling thr hostess to move them up the list and seat the "Leann" party sooner. At first we all thought he was kidding but as our wait progressed to over an hour the owners wife came over and told the hostesses to seat the party of 11 first, after Ted had come out once again and asked to have them seated sooner. At this point we got up and askes the hostesses what was going on and they said we were going to be seated next. After we were taken to a table 70ish minutes after checking in the owners wife came over as we got our drinks and said she just happened to have a table for 11 but they were never "moved up the list." Nice of her to say but small consellation considering the owners utter diaregard for waiting, paying patrons.

That being said, the food was ok but nothing special. Price point was good for the area. The dining room is WAY too loud to even speak with those across the table from you. Sound absorbing panels are definitely needed. The clubhouse sandwich is too large to eat, for anyone and my grilled cheese had only 1 slice of bacon for the whole sandwich. The salads were adequately filled with fixings and the nacho toppings were typical but the majority of the cheese was not melted. Sadly i doubt we will be back mostly due to the act of thr owner giving preferential treatment, or...

Went in for lunch today with my family, we weren’t greeted by the door lady, I had to approach, say hello and ask for a table for my family of 3. She then asked us to wait while she looked for a table, it seemed the dining side was fairly empty and the bar side was more full, she placed us in a corner table back in the bar and set menus down and hardly said a word.

We waited..... we wanted to start with two appetizers, still no waitress, we noticed the bar tender and other servers and nobody seemed to even acknowledge us. Five minutes passes, we knew what entrees we wanted and continued to wait patiently, still not one employee said hello or one moment, or took our drink order. Almost ten minutes passes, and we made the decision to leave. It wasn’t busy, tables around us were being spoken to and served, it was odd. The menu looked amazing and we didn’t get to try it, not sure if this was a stereotype situation or a situation of completely untrained, no common sense employees, I was shocked.

We then went to Old Boys Brewery and we were immediately greeted at the door, taken to a table and had drinks within 5 minutes, they were busy and still managed to do a great job and the food was great.

We visit many small town restaurants around the country and this was by far the first time we were not acknowledged as if we didn’t exist or they were fighting over who had to take our...

NOISY. We could barely hear each other talk. Like eating in the middle of a high school cafeteria sound level wise.

The hummus and veggies was overpriced for what we received. We almost sent it back. Didn't help it was really bland and salty.

We substitute a Beyond Burger party for the Mushroom and Onion burger. The sandwich was great. I did enjoy that. Our party split the sides. Kettle chips excellent. Sweet potato tots good, I don't even like sweet potatoes. The cilantro slaw was a real disappointment. Another salt is the main seasoning. No tang. Not even just the subtle tones of the ingredients. I really was looking forward to it.

Waitstaff was attentive and patient.

Gets a three from me because the place is noisy AF. The rest of the food was good. They offer up the Beyond Burger with a GF roll and vegan cheese, so that's something in a line up of meat and fried stuff.

Ted's reminds me a lot of eating at Dave and Busters (enjoyed D&B more). Loud. If you have kids this place is perfect. If you like sports bar food and atmosphere, this is your place! Not dirt cheap or over the top expensive (compared to similar places in Metro Detroit).

I would probably get a carry out next time. I don't need Church Mouse quiet, but I don't like yelling like I'm at a...

Completely forgettable. Service was there but apathetic. Food was mediocre. Prices for the food served were high. Nothing was bad, however nothing was worth reliving. We left feeling like it was a $50 for a lunch that could have been better spent elsewhere. The lowlights: the lobster BLT was a BLT on ciabatta sprinkled with a bit of shredded lobster. The bread didn’t hold up and the sandwich fell apart after two bites. The walleye poboy was conceived by someone who didn’t know what a poboy is. The bread was dense and hard - way too much bread - it should be in a light flakey French baguette. Instead it was a cold hoagie roll with a bit of very good fish that was completely consumed by bread a very little condiment. Fries are good but could use a little crispness. Sorry. Wanted to like it.
