I piloted the Batmobile through the winding back roads of Sinking Spring to uncover the culinary delights of Juliana's, a true hidden gem.

The moment you step inside, the aroma of fresh bread and simmering sauces whispers of homecooked feasts. You're greeted with genuine warmth by their friendly staff, folks eager to make your experience memorable. I’ve had the pleasure of being served by Darwin – the guy is a true pro! Spaghetti - Nonna! Her spaghetti with homemade meatballs is the stuff of legends (don't tell Alfred, though).

Ambience - Venture outside and discover Juliana's secret Batcave of flavor – their outdoor patio. Tucked away behind the building, there is a takeout sign reminiscent of the bat signal that will lead you there. It's a haven of unexpected wonder. For those seeking a post-battle refueling spot, their cozy bar is the perfect retreat. It's got that intimate vibe where you might strike up a conversation with a fellow foodie or, who knows, maybe even meet a future ally.

Take out - the Gotham streets were busy this evening, so take out what's the plan. Pictured you will find the personal size stromboli and cannoli. For scale - I am 7” tall.

Adventure - my visit allowed time for some Bat-detective work! With a bit of sleuthing, I uncovered whispers of a new potential menu item. Frank, the owner himself, confirmed the intel with a knowing smile – the Fried Cheesesteak! Picture this: savory steak, molten cheese, all wrapped in a golden, crispy cocoon. A true flavor explosion worthy of an exclusive taste test!

Juliana's, is a place where warmth, delicious secrets, and comforting flavors collide. So ditch the Batcave for an evening and venture onto their secluded outdoor patio for a night you...

Our first time here...10 things wrong; 1.Waited too long for our food (waitress brought us cold bread with plain olive oil and balsemic vinegar for dipping and cold mozzarella sticks for "our wait". Party reservation got food before we did even though they arrived after us). 2.Then our order was wrong. (instead of a pepperoni pizza that he ordered bf got a pepperoni stromboli). My Italian stromboli was empty at the ends and couldn't taste the pepperoni or salami just ham. Waiters were filling water carafes from a sink that employees were "washing" their hands at. ("Washing" hands used loosely cause it was inadequate and tap water carafes?? Really?). Took glass away but never brought refill drink (had to ask for it). Food was bland overall. Pretzels were gummy and brownie layer was dry in the salted caramel pretzel cake,. 8.Server with the man bun was in the bathroom WITH a serving tray! IN THE BATHROOM!! Brought the check with no pen to sign for credit card (had to get up to ask for a pen to sign slip). The waitress came out as we were headed to our car to ask why no tip..... need...

2022 EDIT: Never coming back again. We used to come here at least a few times every week a few years ago. The food and service was excellent then. We went again today, after 3pm, NO bread, burnt coffee that was obviously brewed in the morning, was never asked for a refill, yet got an eye roll when we asked for another beer. The prices were obnoxiously high. $61 for 4 beers, lobster ravioli and meat stuffed shells. The food wasn't bad, but they obviously changed their ingredient sources and the service was terrible. The atmosphere was ok if you don't like Italian music and prefer orthodontist music that replayed every half hour. Save time and go to olive garden or the frozen food section. VERY disappointed.

2019: Oh wow..I ordered from their counter for dinner tonight. I didn't even wait to warm it up, the smell was too tempting. BEST GARLIC KNOTS EVER! :) Can't wait to try the pizza!:)....the upside down pizza was SUPERB!! best sauce ever. Two others I told said the same;) Today I went back for the eggplant parmesan. Ermahgerd... YUM!:) Super sweet and helpful staff...

Let me tell you this place is a must! I was recommended this place by a local while in town for work. Upon my arrival I could tell it was going to be a great experience by the vibes that it was going to be good. My server was Kathryn V, she gave top quality service, wow. Kathryn informed me of the Wednesday “Pasta Flight” which came with three different types of homemade pastas with different types of noodles and sauces alike. Amazing recommendation by Kathryn for sure. After enjoying the amazing pasta I had some more room for a cannoli, Kathryn informed me those are made from scratch everyday, again another top notch recommendation. I will for sure visit again when/if I ever make my way to central Pennsylvania. Also note there was a little cat that apparently hangs outside the restaurant every night, he came to say hello from a distance, an additional feature that made the experience extra fun!
