McDonald's — Restaurant in Spring Valley

I live nearby, and go here regularly with my family, as there aren't very many options in the area for quick meals. The turnover rate is terrible, and every time we go in, there are new employees, who are poorly trained, and hardly ever wearing name tags. Nine times out of ten, our order usually has something wrong. Like when I ask for "no sauce" on a sandwich, and they make it completely plain, or when we ask for strawberry pies, and end up getting all apple, or when they use the wrong flavor of syrup in my iced coffee, then remake it with the wrong amount of cream. Try to correct them, and get an eye roll and a sigh in response. And those were just from THIS week.

We've also complained about the fact that when you order any breakfast sandwich on a muffin, they are burned. Every time. Not a little crispy, I'm talking about totally charred, hard, and inedible. Nothing has been done to remedy this. I try to be as patient as possible, having worked with the public before, but this location has some of the most poorly trained individuals, as well as some of the rudest, I have ever encountered. The only good thing about this place is that, aside from the drink/condiment station always being a disaster, the place is relatively clean. Very disappointing overall. Went through the drive thru last night - we had a happy meal & a regular meal but replaced our soda choices with milkshakes. When we spoke to CANDACE through the drive thru, she said she couldn’t give us our shakes because she wasn’t making them. We told her that was fine, just take off the ice cream upcharge and replace those with cokes. She then said “technically you haven’t even paid for this meal yet so I can just cancel your entire order.” We asked her to please not do that and just replace the drinks. Mind you, this was after waiting in the drive thru for 12 minutes behind one car. Once we pulled up to the first window, we waited another 4 just for her to come to the window and say “what?!?!?” When we asked for the receipt. She told us “you could’ve pulled up to the other window” and then literally THREW the receipt in my husband’s face inside the car. Once we got to the second window, we were helped by a young man who was very kind and even made the shakes for us. He was apologetic and deserves more for his kindness and having to deal with Candace daily. I understand being overworked and understaffed but there is a wrong and a right way to treat your paying customers and her attitude was not it. We will not be returning to this...

The McDonald's in spring valley is a lot more expensive than any other McDonald's I've gone too and don't know why. My buddy gets his triple cheeseburgers at his McDonald's for $2.59 each were there 3.99 here. Egg and sausage McMuffin used to cost 2.29 now suddenly they jumped up to 4.29, but the sausage McMuffins are still 2.29 so they charge you an extra $2 for an egg. The deals are not the greatest with the online app. The food's been okay there, my hamburgers usually taste fine but my fries are usually lukewarm and not fresh. Drive-thru is pretty quick so no complaints there. Just giving them two stars mainly because of the price differences between spring valley McDonald's and peru's McDonald's. Almost better off going to Culver's or something now cuz of the prices you pay for McDonald's you could be spending the same at Culver's and get a...
