Spring Valley Bakery — Restaurant in Spring Valley

What an amazing bakery! We stopped through on our way into the city, and they spent a good ten minutes with us since we were new. They explained all of the offerings, what was popular, what was likely to sell out first, etc. The best service imaginable. And then there's the food... Stunning. I mean, this donut, a filled long John, took me to another place. The dough is heavier than other brands, but with a great bite, delicious flavor... We grabbed several varieties of donuts and pastries, and, well... I shouldn't have eaten them all. But I couldn't resist. We'll be back. I'll schedule in time to stop every time I'm going that direction. And if you don't stop, I'm okay with that because I'll probably buy whatever...

Just put the address in your google maps and start driving because I promise you no other bakery is as good as this. I fell in LOVVEE with the sugar donut, so fluffy and doughy. Every holiday they decorate the donuts with the theme and they’re so gorgeous you feel bad for eating them. I came all the way from Chicago to see why everyone keeps talking about these donuts and they didn’t disappoint. I can’t wait until they start producing their Mi Destino coffee brand and making it public. The owners are so humble...

So happy to know the place was sold to friendly, obviously caring people. Nice knowing they are interested in carrying on the tradition of the small town bakery while also looking to up the game. These are my grandson's favorite long johns, can't beat them! He even let my grandson pick out a cookie! We will definitely be returning. Wishing the best to you on your bakery journey!
