Las Fajitas A couple of friends and I decided to come visit Las Fajitas on Thompson St in Springdale after work. Maybe have a beer or two. You can tell that the building isn’t too old from how clean and new it looked. But beyond that you can see they take cleanliness seriously. From the moment we walked thru the door we were greeted with the nicest wait staff. After looking at the menu quickly decided I was eating also. I had the four steak tacos. They were delicious. And the tomatillo salsa was so good I could almost drink it. A friend ordered chiles toreados (fried jalapenos). They are not on the menu, so you must ask for them. Pretty good but watch out cause some of those are freaking hot. The bartender kept having to fill my water. She loved making fun of the white boy that couldn’t handle the pepper. She made the experience even more enjoyable. I feel like the menu had something for everybody. But to be fair I have only been there once and kind of knew what I wanted immediately. Prices seemed about the same as similar restaurants that I have been to. I give this restaurant easily 5 stars. Clean, good food, and amazing staff. Obviously, I understand I went at the slowest time and didn’t have to worry about studying the menu. So, I went again and took the family for dinner this time. I have to say this time was just as enjoyable. There was plenty of choices on the menu for the whole family. And in my situation isn’t always easy. I have three picky daughters. There was everything you expect at a Mexican style restaurant. Tacos, burritos, cheese dip, and salsa. But they had a good variety of meals to choose from also. A lot of choices on the kid’s menu for my children made it simple to please them. Everything from Tacos to chicken nuggets. Even mac and cheese for the especially picky children. I had the Enchiladas Suizas. Three chicken enchiladas with that delicious green sauce and chedder jack cheese. I recommend them. The wait staff was good not great. They were not very talkative. But understandable with how busy they were. They were patient and helpful with refilling all the drinks and giving us all the salsa, we could take. Food took no time at all to arrive. And the portions were plenty to get full. And don’t forget about dessert. Sopapillas with chocolate dipping sauce are for sure a must. It does get pretty busy during dinner time. Be patient cause we didn’t have to wait too long to get seated. You will be happy you did. I give this restaurant 5 stars. There isn’t anything I can really complain about. My family and I will be going...
Read moreMy wife and I have been going there since they opened the new restaurant in Lowell. Went there tonight and it was the worst service We have ever had there. Wife ordered sweet tea someone forgot to put sugar in it and it took 3 trys to get sweet tea. After it was brought and my wife got to try the tea we had to ask someone else to try again same thing so we asked for lemonade that was about 15minutes in, asked another waitress for lemonade after telling her what had happened still had to wait for them to fix the issue not just get my wife a drink, all in all it took about 25 to 30 minutes for her to get a drink. As for our waitress after she took our order we never seen her again not one time did we get asked was the meal ok until we were asking for the bill to leave. Like usually the food was good but as I have said many times good service can make possible food ok but no matter how good the food it can make up for bad service. You guys failed tonight. I know you are having help trouble but a little training goes a long ways. BTW we have called in a couple orders to have delivered and some extras I have asked for have not been there 2 times I have asked for onions and jalenpinos have not been there. I will give you one more try I do not know when but if service is not better we will quit...
Read moreMe my husband and my daughter have gone to this restaurant plenty of times but we went last week after the Christmas parade. My husband ordered the poblano steak fajitas that had no flavor what so ever I ordered 4 street tacos with everything and my daughter 2 tacos with meat only. After asking the waitress how many tacos we would be receiving she said 6. 4 for my self 2 for my daughter. My 4 tacos came out first my daughter 2 were forgotten. Then finally brought out. When it was time to check out the waitress charged our card without showing us our order receipt. And our total was over 60 dollars I was like how. We had been charged for tacos that we never had. Then the waitress said well when I came to your table why didn't you tell me your tacos were missing I told her I only ate 4 my daughter had 2!!!! I don't know if she thought I was lying I could barely eat the 4th taco let alone 6 to myself. My card had to be charged twice!!!!!! And it took forever to get a refund. The waitress pretty much yelled out to me across her coworkers then had to get a manager she didn't even apologize and even had the balls to ask if I wanted the supposedly 2 tacos that I was missing to go!!!!!!!! I will never return this place...
