Large parking lot. Lunch for 5. The better half had the fried boneless chicken breast with greenbeans and mashed potatoes. My daughter had the grilled chicken salad. My son-in-law ordered chicken. My wife's sister also.orded the chicken. And for myself , fried chicken livers. Sweet potatoes and cabbage. Down home goodness and comfort foods all in one order. The cornbread side was excellent. The brownie ice cream desert was excellent and large. No sugar-free desserts. But 7 different pies were offred.. The blackberry pie, according to the better half, was outstanding. She said light tasty and full of berries. The prices were more than fair. A military discount was provided.

Driving by one evening and being from out of town, I saw the parking lot full and looking for something different than the traditional strip restaurants, I decided to stop in and give it a try. The food was average, I had the shrimp basket. Maybe I'll try something different if I decide to stop in again. Waitress was friendly but admittedly new. Forgot my side salad, refill on tea, and my check. I still tipped accordingly. I was not impressed by the cleanliness of the restaurant, and I personally believe that they need to take advantage of some downtime to do a deep cleaning. Pics are attached, and I would not want to be sitting under that return air grille eating food.

It’s your typical ma and pa diner. Went right before the lunch rush picked up and it gets busy. Lots of local industrial workers and religious older ladies. The chicken strips, jumbo shrimp, and brown beans were delicious!! The catfish way a bit too muddy tasting for our taste buds, but I’m sure a little lemon would do the trick. Service and restaurant cleanliness were as expected. If you’re looking for a place that reminds you of your grandmas cooking then I suggest this!

1st time here. We are stopping in with our RV earlier today traveling from California. Great circular driveway great parking lot for RVs and trailers. That said we sat down and I got regular tea my girlfriend got SWEET tea. Our server Kimberly was probably the best server on the planet, in addition to being a nurse and heard local beekeeper too. What a great lady! Thank you for taking care of me when I had a diabetic episode of my blood dropping very low. Your immediate attention with (2) glasses of orange juice back to back saved me immediately.

Now onto the food.

I ordered pork chops. Battered and pan fried huge thick boneless pork chops. Yummoliciousness. Homemade mashed potatoes and asked for sausage gravy. They make white and brown gravy. It was thick, cooked perfectly and quality pork. Mashed were excellent thick pieces of sausage in the white gravy. Green beans (canned but flavorful with bacon) a little salty but good. And a homemade roll.

My girlfriend got the chicken fried steak. Excellent battered fresh and crispy. Mashed potatoes white gravy no pork. Green beans and roll.

HUGE portions.

Saw a few breakfast plates being eaten at 1pm. HUGE portions of eggs, pancakes 🥞 and hash browns and thick slices of bacon 🥓. Saw homemade burgers being served. Speghetti also looked great.

Prices reasonable, HUGE portions and GREAT Service. Apparently Saturday night they are carving up some prime rib with "homemade horseradish sauce" @ 4! Dont miss out. I heard they have open mic night and kareokee...

We went in a couple weeks ago and a young waitress came up and took our drink order and then a waitress named “Sandy” came up and asked our order and I let her know it was already taken and she said “Well I’m your waitress so”. Like uhm okay, rude much. Sandy brings our food and our check but never comes back by to check on us or get us boxes. I ended up having to ask the cashier to get our box. Sandy was too busy setting at other customers table talking.

The young blonde lady working Saturday night (who was new bc Ive never seen her before) was great. No one else was helping her (she was waitressing and cashiering by herself) and others were complaining about the wait but to be the only one working she done great! I went today and asked about her and they told me she was let go. I find it totally unacceptable after Saturday!

I also find it unacceptable that the managers kids came in and was “helping” Saturday after the young waitress called her. Kids doesn’t belong in the kitchen, as many kids doesn’t know proper hygiene and thats not...

Went with my family last week on their “all you can eat” fried catfish night. Waited nearly 45 minutes to an hour on our food, which was average catfish at best. Our server was great and attentive, but took way too long to get the food. I could tell others in the restaurant were experiencing the same thing with the wait time as well. Only ordered one refill on the fish because I didn’t want to spend the night there, it was already nearly two hours of waiting at that point and they were past closing time. I could understand if it was completely packed, but the place was maybe 50% full at the most. It’s a-shame that it wasn’t a better experience for us. The place had a lot of charm and homey feel, just wish the food hadn’t taken so...
