Got lucky and made it to Springer right at lunch time. Although there were a lot of cars outside they had plenty of seating and we got a table right away. While trying to decide on what to get I saw that they had samples of their red and green chile available which helped make my decision so much easier. I chose the red chile with beans and onions with a flour tortilla and I’m so glad I did. My family ordered a smothered burrito with green chile which was excellent….the beans and rice that came along with it were also excellent, a tostada which was very good and a bacon cheeseburger which was also very good. The service was very prompt and everyone was very friendly and helpful. So glad we got to try this place and would definitely plan our next meal around this place the next time we’re going...

We got the smothered burrito with ground beef (Christmas style - red and green sauce) and the double bacon green chili cheese burger. Everything was super tasty and fresh! Well, except the fries which needed more time in the fryer and some salt. Other patrons were real locals. One table of guys were wearing cowboy hats and boots with spurs, looked weather worn, and waved to all the other tables, their friends and neighbors, when they left. Another table held a husband and wife who were enjoying a tasty Sunday lunch.
