Read moreWe were a big fan of the apple orchard salad when we first got it a couple years ago. Since then it has been nothing but a slow decline. Hit or miss and most the times not worth it anymore.
Got a regular size apple orchard salad and a dozen breadsticks and dip. Just under $30. Mind you, one of the main ingredients, even in the title is, apples. So once home we opened the bags and one little bag of pre sliced apples. Smaller than the ones you can get at McDonald’s. A bunch of brown lettuce pieces and chunks of the core. We called and the man said really, one bag? Usually there is 3 bags of apples. Well not this time. So he credits us $1.50 on our next bill. Said we don't have any drivers to deliver apples. Not that we asked even though I have drove back to get them myself. Ridiculous. Spend this much money for a salad and one of the namesake’s is barely even in it. Maybe a $5 credit would have been better. Pretty sure they would charge more than 50 cents an apple bag if asked for extra apples.
I get it shit happens, but not the third time. First time zero apples. No offer to make it right. Just, sorry. Second time, no apples, again. Drove back to get them cause of the first time. Fourth time no apples we got a credit for the salad cause I’ll be damned if I’m gonna drive back to get them, AGAIN. Then this time, number 5 🤦🏼
We do not come here much. The pizza was always decent. Not much in this area either for restaurants. Hopefully you can step up your game, cause we will not be coming back to use our $1.50 credit anytime soon.

Read moreCan't recommend this place anymore. My wife and I are usually underwhelmed by the quality of the pizza but gave them a final chance tonight because they have amazing breadsticks. Unfortunately the pizza was pretty abysmal, my wife barely ate a slice. Under sauced, topped haphazardly/inconsistenly and one of the pizzas was missing a topping. Bummer. The insult to injury were the breadsticks, well short of the usual size of a full order, in a new foil bag, with barely any seasoning on them, they were bland, stale and awful.
What does seem consistent, is the staff all seem to be high school aged kids. This isn't that big a deal but there never seems to be an older manager/supervisor around. When I was working in high school, customer service and quality workmanship weren't exactly at the top of my list of priorities. Perhaps some adult oversight and quality control could avoid experiences like the kinds I've had here recently.
2 stars for my experiences, overall the most accurate rating for this establishment is 3 stars (google reviewers tend to only rate things ones or fives unrealistically). Not an awful place, but certainly not the best pizza joint in the region by a longshot. Just average.
We're going to stick with Hometown Pizza, and occasionally Locri...
