Gold Star — Restaurant in Springfield Township

Update: as you can see, corporate asked me to reach out. They did give me a free double decker. But I got it from Mt. Healthy, which I previously rated five stars. Since this location had nothing to do with my free sandwich, I'm keeping the ranking. Went with the family for a meal. I ordered a ham and bacon double decker on wheat toast. It came out with turkey, which I discovered on my first bite.

The receipt confirmed that I ordered correctly, so I went up to the counter to ask to have the right sandwich made. There were two women working at the time. The one behind the counter asked for my receipt, and when she saw that it did confirm I had ordered ham, she said I would have to wait until the other woman got back from the bathroom to make my sandwich. That seems like a weird thing to say.

As I watched my son finish his cheese coneys, and I watched my wife finish her fries, I kept thinking two things: what exactly is this woman doing in the bathroom, and do I want her making me a sandwich immediately thereafter? Besides the fact, I didn't want to sit around and wait to eat in front of my family after they already finished their food. So I asked for a refund.

The food here is good despite their need for employees, they are always short staffed with teenagers needing help on what to do, maybe they are just new employees I believe they try their best to keep the food tasting good but because of the lack of employees I am kind of skeptical eating their now because the remaining employees seem not cheerful and unhappy MY QUESTION WOULD BE, CAN I TRUST THEY WILL RESPECT THAT PEOPLE EAT THE FOOD SO NO PLAYING AROUND AND NOT CARING ABOUT THE FOOD. These kids running the restaurant needs a serious overseer to ensure they are serving untampered...

The staff including the manager is rude and lack customer service skills. The restaurant smelled like raw sewage which is odd when there is food. Not sure what is going on. My family turned around and left immediately without eating in. Management has definitely changed from years ago. I wish the previous management return because SFRR PROPERTIES LLC lacks businesses ethnics. The staff basically talk to patrons as if our money is not valued. Will not be patronizing this location anymore.
