To be honest, I was shocked to learn that this place is owned by the same people who own brown derby! We arrived with a very awkward greeting. The hostess brought us out to the middle of the dining area and stared at us until I asked if she needed something from us. She asked us to pick a table so we did. We had to wait a while to be waited on. The waitress was personable. She took our drink order. She came back with my ice tea looking like some creamy frothy stuff floating on top. Frothy creamer? Here is hoping? So it took a while again to catch her attention again to fix that. By time that had happened our appetite was gone. Instead of getting steaks like we had intended, we ordered sandwiches. It was ok. The baked sweet potato was huge and cooked well. Chicken sandwich had no flavor and had to be seasoned more. Hamburger was meh. Once again, it took a while. We were the only ones in the dining area, the bar was pretty full and very loud. I was happy that we didn't bring the kids because there were some loud people in there dropping all sorts of profanity. So maybe this place is really just known more for being a bar? We normally go to the Brown Derby down the street and have excellent experiences there. How the two places could be so different while being owned by the same people is a mystery to me. We won't be back.

So my wonderful husband took me out for valentine's day dinner, however the place was less than wonderful. First we get there at 4 and it was hour-half wait, no biggie. We give the number to contact us when it was our turn. Two hours later we go in to see if we was getting closer. They passed right over us never did call or text. The hostess said her Manger tried calling us 5 times he shows the phone with no calls from them. They said ok fine very rude. With NO APOLOGY! So we get seated. Our server was amazing she was doing her best. We order an appetizer, sounds great right. Nope a wrong appetizer came to the table. Again server was super she tried. Our food came which it was OK. But no choices in sides. So you make due. But the worse gross part is the restrooms. They have mold in the women's. It didn't looked like it has been cleaned in years. An with this Covid going on you would think they would keep the place cleaner than that. Oh and don't get me started on how they were rolling their silverware in the middle of the dinning area. Then the dishwasher lady was trying to help roll, but no mask on. Then she ( dishwasher lady) gets in front of me blocking me from my table asking me where I was going. I said to my table. Rude people, OK food, and the restrooms well the pictures speak for themselves.

Came here after the Reformatory tour to try their prime rib since it was nearby. Pulling in the empty parking lot on a Sunday afternoon should have tipped us off that there was something amiss. We sat at the bar. Cocktails were ok. They had lots of ice in them even after being strained. Appetizers were ordered and brought out minutes later which make us believe they were reheated in the microwave. The worst part of the meal was the entrees. I got the prime rib and when it was brought out I had one small piece then a huge hunk @ 2 different temperatures, with one that had grill marks on it. My husband got the ribeye and asked for it to be cooked as rare as possible. For whatever reason they thought it was a good idea to have it come out on a cast iron skillet is beyond me. By the time it came out to us it was well done and tasted burnt. The best part of the meal was surprisingly the warm brownie dessert next to the service and staff.

So disappointed, within the first 5 minutes of entering the establishment a fight began in the bar between two men, no one tried to stop it. Bar tender turned her back. This went on for several minutes. A customer had to step in between the two men, then management stepped in, we should had left then... Server was great....but then our food came...my husband's fish was raw, they replaced it with ravioli, which was over cooked and mushy, side dishes were cold and veggies were hard..we asked they heat them and bring cooked veggies...it took 10 minutes just for the potatoes, never received cooked veggies. I had steak, asked for medium well, it was raw....when we complained again now for the third time the manager avoided us. It was several minutes before he stopped at our table and offered nothing but to put the raw meat back on the grill, no competition for the under cooked meals, he was aggravated with us...we were trying to have a good experience, despite the food...but it just didn't get better. They tried charging us for all the uncooked n overcooked food. Once again my husband asked for the manager, once again we were now ignored for several more minutes...my husband told the server again he wanted to speak to the manager...we continued to wait...a couple next to us also had uncooked chicken...we were so disappointed with the food and manager my husband told the server once we got him to come back to our table that he needed to adjust our ticket...we waited once again. We sat down in the restaurant around 5:30...we left at 7:45, hungry...dissatisfied...aggravated...this is a business that wants guest to think its a great eating establishment but was a terrible experience....we will never return and we will NOT recommed this restaurant to our...

I've been visiting this place every weekend for the last 5-6 months and while I've heard the horror stories I've always had good service... Until today.

Worst service I've had in probably 10 years. The server clearly didn't have time for us. We were there over an hour and she not once offered us refills. The manager came by once and refilled our drinks. I ordered a side salad and rolls which we never received. My main dish was a provolone steak burger. The girls each ordered chicken sandwiches. 50 minutes after we were seated and all the tables around us who came in after us were served, our food finally comes. Mind you, we hadn't seen the server up until this point. My provolone steak burger, clearly was not a provolone steak burger as the cheese looked like what can only be described as shredded taco cheese. You know, the yellow and white cheese, along with bits of mushroom and fried onion. I assumed the order had been messed up and mentioned it to my server at which point she tells me that's the provolone steak burger.... I said no, provolone cheese is white and this is yellow cheese. She takes my burger back into the kitchen and 5 minutes later comes back with it . A piece of melted provolone on it this time along with the remaining bits of whatever else the other cheese was, the bits of mushroom and fried onions, along with the now soaking wet soggy bun & fries from being put in the microwave.

All I can say is, when it's good, it's really good... When it's bad it's really, really bad.

Still left over a $10 tip on a $41 bill. Not because the server deserved it. Not because the food was good, but because me tipping is a reflection of my character... Them not caring about their jobs is a...
