Chicago Fish and Chicken — Restaurant in Springfield

Let me tell you, Chicago Fish and Chicken is where it’s at! We tried the 6-piece wing dinner and the PhillyCheese Chicken dinner, and let me just say—WOW. The wings came out hot, crunchy, and seasoned to perfection. You know that feeling when the seasoning makes you nod your head like you’re agreeing with a good sermon? Yeah, that was us.

Now, about that PhillyCheese… hands down, the best PhillyCheese I’ve ever had. It wasn’t dry like some of the impostors out there. The taste? Let’s just say it was so good, I almost forgot my manners and ordered another one mid-bite. Seriously, it was that good.

The cook, Desiree, brought even more flavor to the experience—sweet, funny, and clearly passionate about her craft. And the owner? Super chill. You can tell this place is run with love and attention to detail.

Honestly, I’ll probably be back tomorrow… and the day after that. Chicago Fish and Chicken just earned a permanent spot in my weekly food lineup. Don’t walk—RUN to this spot! You won’t...

We were in town for a play in Springfield and wanted to support local places, so we went here and Schuler’s bakery. They treated us like family both places and it was refreshing. We couldn't wait until we got home to try it all hot, so we sat in car and had some chicken tenders snd fries before we drove off. They were sooooooo good and loved the flavors. My family is eating and loving it right now, so we will drive back sometime just to get their chicken again. The chicken wings were delicious and we watched a woman carrying 200 wings out, so had to try those too. If they ask if you want the seasoning on it, the answer is YES. The woman helping him was really nice too and gave us a menu to take home. We will be back when in town again. Thank you for your generosity to my daughter as well....

I've only been here a few times since it's been Chicago f&c and I am hooked. Haven't been working or I'd be there eating more of their delicious food. I have a very picky texture sensitive asd teen who loves the wings and catfish nuggets. I have tried something new each time because I am not picky and want to try everything on the menu.
