I grew up behind the Selma Road Fruit Market on Clifton Ave. I hadn't stopped in that store for nearly 20 years. I went there today and was surprised to find that Dave (owner) not only remembered me, but had kept track of my ventures after I left the neighborhood. He knew I got into coaching football and knew specifics about the coaching jobs I've had in the Springfield area. Dave always took care of my family when I was younger and I was thankful to find the same kind hearted individual when I stopped at the store today. His shop is incredibly clean and well kept.
