El Cafetin is a new restaurant on Cottage St. In Springfield, MA. The food you can smell from the street. Upon entering I was immediately greeted. There were customers sitting at tables raving about their food. The interior is beautiful, clean and nicely decorated with ample seating. The food is kept covered, hot & temped like a professional Serve Safe restaurant should be. Your food will be fresh, hot and delicious when served. I was so happy to try everything on their menu because Everything looked delicious and so well thought out and prepared. This will require many visits but with food this good, you will not be disappointed. Anyone can open a restaurant but Not anyone can put out delicious quality food. I'm from Hartford CT. Moved out here to Springfield not too long ago and was looking for a spot that reminded me of spots back in Hartford. Saw this place and thought I'd give it a try. Seemed like all the ladies behind the counter had an attitude, I waited about 35 mins for 2 sandwiches... And the sandwiches weren't even mid at best or worth the high price. There was barely any pernil in them. Usually Id only eat a half of a half of the sandwich with how much meat they have ( spots in Hartford ) but the sandwich i got from here I literally inhaled both halves in one bite and was still hungry so ended up going to the McDonald's around the corner.... I had high expectations walking in and went home completely...
