GTG Cafe — Restaurant in Springfield

I recently visited GTG Cafe with high hopes, enticed by their 6 piece lunch special. Upon placing my order, I requested all flat chicken wings, a preference of mine. The staff member, a young lady, assured me she would do her best to accommodate my request, even though her explanation about the chicken being pre-cut seemed odd to me. She kindly mentioned she’d try her best without needing extra payment, which I appreciated.

Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. To my surprise, she managed to provide all flat chicken wings, which initially seemed like a positive gesture. However, my satisfaction was short-lived. The chicken, alongside the fries, tasted anything but fresh. It was immediately apparent that the grease used for frying was overdue for a change, imparting an unpleasant flavor to the entire meal. This significantly detracted from what could have been a delightful dining experience, rendering most of my food inedible.

While I appreciate the staff’s effort to meet my specific request, the overall quality of the meal was severely lacking. The food’s freshness and taste are fundamental aspects that should never be compromised. It’s disappointing to leave a meal feeling unsatisfied and concerned about the establishment’s attention to food quality and...

First off the staff is friendly they made me feel like I was walking through my grandma's front door again. I'm 32 years old I don't get excited about much but after these wings I can say different now. This place is beyond amazing to be so little. The cook is great at what he does. I will be back just for him in general. I've been from panama city to new York, Texas, Ohio and many other places I have never had wings this good. I can't wait to try the other food...

Ok so I went back a second time today, legit my first day ever trying this food. I really thought I had peaked with the first order of wings I had but now I'm overfull and not regretting a damn thing. I had a blt, and let's be honest three slices of bacon is not enough but this guy loaded me up. I had plenty of bacon and the second round of wings were even better. Somebody come interview this place please. It's peak on everything they make. This guy knows how to cook some food and I'll be back everyday I get a lunch. 10 stars through and through. I love these ppl. I don't know them but I love them. Please come try this food....

We had the opportunity to patronize this black owned restaurant while visiting Panama City Beach.

We ordered the chili dogs and the sweet Thai chili wings.

The best part of the visit was the service! The staff greeted us with smiles and was very friendly. We were quoted about a 15 min wait however it went to about 40 mins due to a fryer issue. We really didnt think much of it since we were sitting and playing their video games to stay occupied. They were running a little behind due to a fryer issue and the Cook took the time to check on us and give us an update. That was a big plus and showed that they truly cared.

Only feedback we have is possibly mentioning there is beans in the chili on the hot dogs, also switching to all beef hot dogs. Non-beef dogs seem to be more mushy and with the perfect soft bun everything kind just melted together. The hot dog had a perfect char.

Last thing is the wings were banging but they were so tiny. They were flavored and fried to perfection.
