PT'S Barbecue — Restaurant in Springfield

I am very disappointed i wanted pts to cater pulled pork for my party, at first it was all sounding good said id get a deal for 2 pans "okay awesome set me up." Then when i asked how hed like to take down my order he tells me to just text the number i was calling. Okay a lil wierd but ill work with it considering pts is a local place. I called n had this order "placed" on april 26, so i was gonna call again to make sure were still all good n to see how he would want the order paid for cuz since our first interaction and after i text him i havent heard anything from since so i call again sarting thursday may 26 and i got a "this person is not accepting calls at this time" so i call later same thing, then i try the next day, friday i called basically as soon as they opened same thing then right after lunch, same thing, then once again after i got off work round 3 pm and same thing so i tried 1 more day, saturday now im fed up and needless to say a lil angry and needless to also say i try calling them only twice this day and the same message so i just went n got pulled pork from gfs for over 100...

I arrive there around 4:12 to be told that the ribs will not be done till 5 I let the guy know that I live in Chatham and came all the way there to get some ribs first off he tried to make me get something else because there wasn't any ribs done then after that I waited until 5 mind you I was the only person there sitting there then a lot of other people came around 5 so I'm thinking that I was going to get my food first never got my food first the guy was serving everyone but me so I asked how long will it take for my order to get done because I've been waiting here for over 40 minutes and then the guy tells me that my food is coming off the grill would not give me a time on how long I will be waiting after have been waiting for 40 minutes very unprofessional when there's people inside trying to get you to buy CDs I've never being treated like that at a restaurant before but I guess as I was leaving the guy that was cooking the ribs was yelling something at me I'm not sure what he said but that was not professional I will not be going...

Looking for some BBQ and found myself here. Small little setup and the menu got your typical BBQ items. Got the rib tips and half chicken and the price wasn't bad thou. Started with tips, and I mean they were ok you get a decent size portion too 7.8. The chicken again ok nothing crazy that stands out 7.9. The BBQ sauce reminds me of open pit BBQ sauce in flavor and is not very thick and running. Got one side was the mac n cheese and this was really good wish i got it in a bigger cup 8.4. Overall if in a crunch you'll get your bang for your buck in terms of portion size but for higher quality BBQ might look at other spots on my next...
