This place was really good the only thing I wish they had different was shrimp tacos as well as some better salsas. The hot one is like a flavorless slime but does have some heat to it. And the others are like tomato sauce with little flavor. We are used to being in Texas and New Mexico and if you have ever been there the salsas are amazing! They need to try out stripes-the gas stations recipe for salsa cause it is the only area they are lacking in. I am almost betting this is not the authentic salsa they eat at home. The other food was amazing! Burritos were huge and rolled tacos were crispy. Fish tacos were loaded with toppings but the fish had a muddy taste similar to catfish not cleaned properly. They did have fresh jalapenos if you ask which is always a plus. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was cooked fresh and hot. We will be going back here again just packing along our own...
ย ย ย Read morePretty good Mexican. The flavors and friendly quick service remind me of home (Southern California). Not as good as home, but good! Love the flavor of the enchiladas and the pork. I tried the carnitas tacos. The flavor of the pork was good. But it was a little โmidwestโ. No spicy green salsa, no onion/cilantro, no avocado slice โ which is the way I like mine. As in the beat street tacos from a favorite taco truck!
It was good enough to draw me back for lunch the next day. I tried another cheese enchilada because i love the red sauce and a shredded chicken taco. Chicken meat was on the dry side with no seasoning. I added Pico de Gallo and salsa which helped. Rice was good. Beans were okay... needed more flavor for my preference.
I would come back. I really like the enchiladas.
Super casual place. Indoor...

Shredded beef tacos are as good as any place in town and the tostada was good, American authentic, and bigger than expected. Cheese enchiladas are a cut above most Springfield enchiladas but its a low bar. They actually have a large, varied menu so you can try many different meals.
I've heard about '3 milks' cake and thought I'd try it. Fun surprise.
Whenever we're in the area we stop by. Recommended. 3 stars for atmosphere only because of Styrofoam plates and plastic utensils; you're not going to impress a date! The staff is actually...
