Scoop Station | Ice Cream Panama City — Restaurant in Springfield

This is EXACTLY what Callaway and Panama City in general need- locally owned business. It's a standard ice cream shop with solid Hershey's brand Ice cream. I loved the variety of flavor options including low fat, sugar free, and dairy free. They have a variety of topping options to craft your perfect ice cream cup or cone. The owner was was very welcoming and kind and even hooked us up with a lil extra ice cream on top of my single scoop.

I love how encouraging the samples were. Sometimes you only want to ask for one or two samples because the work ers aren't enthusiastic about it. But we were encouraged to try as many flavors as we wanted to, which was really nice and helped us choose the exact one we wanted. Even gave us an idea what to order on the next trip!

Side feedback for the owners, I recommend adding some background music to add some ambiance. Look for ways to innovate the ice cream space. If you’ve never been this is a must to check out. Rhianna was absolutely awesome!! Super nice and made sure to let me know you can sample as many flavors as you’d like before deciding. I typically make the drive from Calloway to St. Andrews to go to Drew’s ice cream shop. It is so nice to have something close to the house in Calloway and with so many great options on flavors. They even make the waffle cones fresh using a waffle maker and a cone roller. You can even add sprinkles to the cone to add a little color. This is now a regular weekend treat for my family and I. We needed this so bad in callaway/Springfield! It’s nice to finally have a local shop here and be able to get ice cream that’s NOT fast food! The inside is so nice and welcoming!! The owner is full of life and grateful for everyone that walks in! He made the experience better!

He encouraged us to try as many samples as we wanted and didn’t fuss about it at all. It actually helped me decide what I would get and I got a flavor I usually wouldn’t order!
