Talk Of The Town — Restaurant in Springfield

I just left TotT without a meal. There was a line that moved really quickly...until it was my turn. The beautiful lady serving up food saw me, never acknowledged me, then started dishing up what looked like delicious food to some other beautiful lady that walked in and cut the line.

Now, greater is the Spirit of God that lives in me, than the spirit that lives in the world 1 John 4:4. So, I waited very, very patiently with no negativity. I saw what it was.

But the server lady took her sweet old time, still never saying A WORD to the patron(me) that patiently waited her turn.

She proceeded to look over at me from time to time for the 12 minutes she let the line cutter go back and forth outside to see if her car-mate wanted something diff since it wasn't an option.

Finally, like the afterthought she clearly saw me as, I thanked her and left as quietly as I entered.

I revently moved back home from GA for a year to complete a MA in counseling. I understand cultural behavior!!! But, that doesn't make it acceptable.

I am an OVERTIPPER!! I don't mind at all, but I will never spend my coins on disrespect my friends.

Just wanted a meal that was hearty so I could study without starving, lol!

In sixteen of January me and my friend we decided to stopped by talk of the town get dinner But upon arrival we asked if we allowed to eat in We are regret it just because the way we get served we didn’t know that if they have a certain way that they serve people who don’t have Jamaican nationality I thought in business everybody should get treated The same as soon as every single person has a dollar bill in the pocket But guess not When we ordered we expected an employee to bring us the food like every other restaurant do it But that was not case They told us we not gonna get served we have go get the food and bring it to the table ourselves And we did And then they made fun of us So I descourage anyone who doesn’t have Jamaican background do not...

I called on the phone and placed my order because we live about 25 minutes away. When we got there we told the girl behind the counter that we had a call in order. She went and asked the girls if they had my order and they said I called after 8pm. But she took my order and didn’t mention that at all. Then she proceeded to tell us that they didn’t have the shrimp that I ordered. So we basically drove all that way for nothing. They didn’t apologize or even care.
