We've been to several breweries and the food here was not good. I was going to try the sausages, since they are a German restaurant but was really in the mood for a burger. Since their website says they have the best burgers in town, I thought it would be a safe bet. I ordered an olive burger. I asked for it cooked medium and it came out well done and dry. The patty was clearly a pre-packaged, frozen patty, not the fresh mix of chuck, brisket and short rib that it says it is on the menu. After seeing pictures of their olive burgers, mine did not come with olives on it, it only had the olive mayo. There was barely any cheese on it even though it's $1.50 extra. The brioche bun was good though. My fries were so well done they were almost inedible. I left several on my plate. My boyfriend's meal, the meat seemed to be pre-packaged and old and the bread was VERY dry. He didn't eat 2/3 of it, which never happens. We ordered roasted garlic dip and chili cheese fries for appetizers. The dip was the best part of the whole experience and it was just good, not overly awesome. The pitas that came with it were super greasy and almost over fried. The chili cheese fries were more of a side order size versus an appetizer size; very small. The fries were also, almost burnt to a crisp and inedible. We have worked in the food service industry in the past so we're usually pretty lenient but our meal just wasn't good. We understand if something is off. It happens. But there were several things very wrong with our meal. After looking at pictures of the food on Google, our fries were very burnt compared to the pics posted here. The beer was just ok but priced well. Our server was friendly. My boyfriend ended up ordering delivery pizza after we got home because he was still hungry. It's not something I'd go running back for probably ever. I don't understand how their rating is so high. It's one of the reasons we...
Read moreWhen we walked it we were greeted and seated , staff was very friendly, when we were seated thatâs when the not so good service began , we sat there for about 20 minutes with 2 waitresses walking by us just looking at us , I know we are all short handed and need to be patient , I get that and I accept that but the weâre waiting and asking all the other customers if they needed anything and they said no , so why not come to our table and at least acknowledge that we are there and ask us for our drink order , also the menu kinda made me sad , the restaurant is all decked out in German and they barely have German food and the German food that was on the menu was not even the way we Seoulâs eat in Germany , so that was a little disappointing, needless to say we got up and walked out not because of the menu but the fact that we sat there for over 20 min and had not been acknowledged by...
Read moreI went to this brewery because of the online rating, big mistake! It is presented as a German style brewery/pub but fails, I lived in Germany for almost 10 years and toured it extensively and tried the beers and foods from the gasthaus's and breweries, I've been to the big ones; Hofbrau, Spaten, Bitburger etc..., and over a hundred small ones. Yes, there are small towns throughout Germany that have their own brewery! I will not call them Micro breweries, since that phrase is coined here in the states and some of the best beer and food was found at the small ones The food does not compare at all and the beers, I tried 8 of them and 6 out of the 8 I would never try again! The other two were ok, but in an area where there are several other breweries to chose from, I would put these as a distant memory. I actually went there hoping the best and the best thing...
