The Base Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Springfield

I ordered beef nachos no pico. I received a plate of burnt chips with a rubbery cheese baked to the top..it looked as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp since the A.M., I told the waitress they were inedible and would like a replacement , after her complete lack of customer service and no apology or anything she picks them up and goes to the back.. she gave me the same chips with American cheese melted on top..it looked so disgusting. I told her these are just as inedible and would not need a box. She proceeded to charge me the full price of the crusty "nachos". Another person in our party asked for coffee..she said none was made but could make some..she came back with our drinks and just said sorry non was made... It was also, all you can eat perch and shrimp. 2 people in our party bought this, but couldn't have a l ot of fish because "its frozen". That was it. No tip. Never again. Just terrible food terrible customer service and for a Friday night..it definitely...

We had a larger than expected party show up ( 23 instead of 17) and was accommodated by Mallory our waitress—who also had a party of 25 in another room that she was responsible for and she was the only server in the floor! We thought we’d have to wait forever but she got another person who was just helping in another room ( Jordan) and our drink and food orders were taken pretty quickly! Our food was delivered as ordered and was cooked perfectly and it was delicious!! They both apologized for the service, but we told them not to worry, they were doing great and we appreciated it very much! The food was delicious and for one cook on duty, she did an amazing job in getting it to us very timely! We were very happy and would recommend The Base to anyone! Showed up for a party that was supposed to take place for a surprise party reserved tables and all a band that was never in the plans we were being charged 15 dollars a head along with us paying for food they were telling people that were already eating they had to pay the 15 dollars as well absolutely ridiculous will not ever support this business again and will never recommend this establishment to anyone for any party’s so much revenue was lost due to this staff and management was rude about it telling us that we were out of luck will never return so watch out for this very disappointed with how we were treated manager wanted to act like he didn’t speak to anyone in our party before hand but yet when we arrived he directed us to the RESERVED TABLES MEANT FOR US!!!!!...
