Wendy's — Restaurant in Springfield

The worst Wendy's experience I have had. Wendy's in Loves gas station off I70 and Route 41. Grant it, it's fast food and it's hard to get good help these days, but still I'm spending my hard earned money to eat with this franchise. Only 1 person taking orders and the line was out the door . Multiple (6 to 10) people behind counter standing around. The manager was yelling at the workers. The drink station and sitting area was disgusting with food and trash on tables , counters, and floor. Hamburgers were very dry/burnt and fries were cold. I took the fries back and asked for fresh. Waited about 3 minutes (the time the worker said) and they gave me cold fries again. I did not take them back again because I was afraid that all the young kids behind the counter would record me being a complaining Karen . It was unreal. I will not be going back to...

I was working in the area and stopped in for lunch during the late lunch time around 1:30ish. The lobby and drive thru both had lines and were busy. I stood in line and was pleasantly surprised how fast the workers were with rushing to get the lobby clean, orders taken, food made and delivered. I honestly dont think I waited 10 minutes at all.

Now having said that, my only complaint would be that I still had other jobs to get to and couldnt go back for fresh fries. The French fries were a little old and you could tell. I always love to splurge being a type 2 diabetic and grab me some fries on my cheat day, but was robbed of that this time. However, my sandwich was very fresh and looked almost identical to the pictures or advertisements that sold me on why I should ear this sandwich, hence, the 5...

I just downloaded the Wendy's app and placed a order with app in Springfield Ohio. I have to say, it was awesome!!! Was able to make changes to my order, like no mayo add mustard. Food was ready for .e right on time when i finished fueling my semi truck. Food was hot, frosty was cold and Chili fries were Excellent!! Good job Wendy's!!! Alot of food apps don't deliver the way this app did. Finally, it's nice to see something work the way it is supposed to. In this day and age everybody uses the technical stupp and you would think things would work better, more efficient, better quality in faster time, THAT IS NOT THE CASE AS FAR AS MY EXPERIENCE GOES!!! And that's everything from grocery store app to online check in when I'm picking up a load in my semi truck... Thanks...
