Bucksnort Bar — Restaurant in Springville Township

Most of the time this place has great food and great service. However lately it's been shaky. And I've been going there a long time. My most recent experience was getting carryout last night. Wanted to order a couple pizzas. I called and was politely put on hold, which is perfectly fine with me. But then I realized I heard the bartender over the phone, while the phone was just put down, taking care of other customers for 10 mins straight. Which okay whatever, y'all are busy, I'll call back in a a few minuets. 40 MINS LATER!!! I was still trying to call back and just order a couple pizzas. It was still just beeping every time I called because they still hadn't hung the phone back up! Finally I gave my business to someone else since employees there could take the 60 seconds it would have taken for me to order a pepperoni pizza and a meatlovers. Just my experience recently. Everything youd want from a small town bar. The locals that scare with one look but probably would raise your family better than you actually do. The food is tremendous. The burgers... to die for. I got back from a recent trip to my girlfriends cabin and we had lunch over that time. Well, when I got back I almost wanted to turn around to get another burger. Were already planning another trip and this will be one of the highlights. This burger was greasy enough to give the bun some taste, but not greasy enough to be grody. Tasty tasty. The atmosphere was quite interesting. Including a Harley in a case. And it had pool tables and other entertainment features.

We liked the selection of comfort foods on the menu. We had the grizzly Burger, the French dip, and the house salad.We also had an order of the portabella mushrooms.

The grizly Burger was interesting. It had roast beef on top of it. And it was a 3rd pound of ground beef. Tasted pretty good. The au jus for the French dip wasn't salty or tangy at all so it was more meh. The salad was a nice portion and the croutons were not rock hard and were flavorful..However the portabella mushrooms were overdone. But in their defense,. There was a medical emergency and it pulled everyone away to help the lady that was struggling.
