The hamburgers and cheeseburgers this place serves are great. They start out on a flat grill and finish on a char grill and that gives each Burger a great taste that along with doing it with fresh meat and not frozen. Likewise the hamburger steaks are equally as good and tasty. One item often overlooked is their onion rings which is freshly made and absolutely delicious and for Lowe's wanting a smaller selection there is a half order available.

Curtis also serves catfish as well as other dishes and I have yet to try anything that I don't like as most everything is tasty and reasonably priced. One other item you have to try is their fried shrimp which is absolutely great. I have had shrimp many places in the Shoals and Curtis is among the best I've had. Regarding the catfish it comes in a cornmeal type batter but if you wish to have the same batter that is on the onion rings or the shrimp they will also do that for you...

Service was extremely slow it took a half an hour to get drinks another 20 minutes to get strong 10 more minutes to get menus same time we got the menus we asked if we knew what we wanted hadn't looked at the menus yet ordered appetizers and meals appetizers came 45 minutes later cold people that came in after us we're getting their dinners before we got our appetizers half an hour to 45 minutes after we got our appetizers we got our meals along with our bill again food was cold one couple came in was there for an hour plus before they even got asked what they wanted to drink the line to pay and pick up carryout orders was another 45 minute wait where I finished my meal standing in line the building is new and nice with plenty of space but the workers have no clue what they're doing...

Honestly if I could leave a negative star I would. The place was clean only good thing I can say. Thank goodness we were sitting close to the register waitress Never brought our check I expect better service when our large fish (3 SMALL fish) dinner was $14.+tax each Only one register After waiting over an hour just to check out I finally had to say something I'm not able to stand in line AND I hate being so rude but after the clerk taking care of the to go orders first.... I was just too tired to wait anymore So I blurted out and said that we had been waiting for over an hour and I just couldn't stand in line ... we were sitting at the handicap table oh well I'll just have to say that I won't be back there again Better Attention to the eat in customers would do wonders...
