DSquared Bistro — Restaurant in St. Louis

Great food, wonderful drinks, welcoming staff, and clean. Unfortunately, the female bouncer was nasty. There was a crowd of 20 people are so and I step outside to use my phone and when I returned she told me I couldn’t re-enter the club because they were closed. Mind you, I’ve haven’t paid, my wife is still inside with the party of 12 other people we were with. Clearly she remembered me. I asked to see the manager and she went back inside as if she was retrieving her but after patiently waiting in the 28 degree weather for 15 mins, I went in to find this bouncer sitting down eating fried food. Then she jumps up with her greasy hands to pat me down again. Mind you there are other customers walking in and out chain smoking. Then she calls another coworker over (who I thought was a customer because he was partying and dressed wearing his lil man bag) to assist in her shenanigans of stopping me from re-entering to pay my tab. I’m not saying she needs to be terminated but some corrective training on keeping her personal life out of her business life is suggested. My party was very nice to her, couldn’t figure out why the flip in attitude but a lot blk folks will get a image in there head of someone doing better than them and start hating for no reason, sad. She is the sole reason a star is missing from this five star...

I took my Wife to the Lou. Because she wanted to support her cousin graduating from Law School, But before , during and after the graduation, my Wife and I ate some of the most delicious food, swang on some good thirst Quenching Beverages, and Most definitely felt right at home at the D Squared Bistro. It's not a bar or a club, good decision for lunch or/and dinner. From the outside entrance to the peaceful outdoors area , felt safe and right at home, thank you bartenders, Waitresses, Host and hostesses for an Awesome experience that's right up the street from Kansas City, We will be back to link up at your Squared...

Me and my 2 girlfriends ordered the grill shrimp. We were discussing amongst ourselves that it was 6 shrimps on a skewer for $12 with no sides. The cook overheard us and started talking to us recklessly. He told us to quit being cheap. We had words with him. The waitress manager came and rectified the situation by offering us a side. We thought it was over until we walked outside to our cars and the cook came out on the side of the building clutching his gun at 3 women. This is pitiful!! I will not be going back because his behavior is ridiculously...
