I am a total freak for pickles! I wasn’t sure sweet hot garlic would be for me because I am a dill fan! How wrong I was! The flavor of these is so good! I can’t stop eating them…. They are really that good! I have never had a pickle that was sweet, hot and slightly silly at the same time and I appreciate the effort to create these flavors that are beyond good. Because I also make my own pickles let me comment in the size of the slices (big) and crispness (so crisp) of these pickles! This is not always the case, and sometimes easier said than done but Pearlies is very successful at both size and crisp of their product. Pearlie’s Pickles at Soulard Market — the pickles are decent, but the customer service is trash.

I’ve been there twice. First time, the woman working couldn’t type in my email after I repeated it FIVE times. Weird energy, lots of staring, zero clue what she was doing.

Second time? She STILL couldn’t type my email. And on top of that, she tried to keep $10 of my change. When I called her out, she got defensive like I did something wrong.

I’m not about to argue with someone over basic math and a keyboard.
