Waited almost 35 mins for drinks. After receiving drinks, we ordered appetizers. The appetizer we ordered was supposed to come with jalepeno peppers. For some reason, ours came with green bell pepper on top. We notified our waitress. She looked at the plate, laughed at the mixup and said she'd bring the jalepeno peppers to us, but never did. Then we asked another waitress if the peppers on our appetizer were green bell or jalepeno peppers. She exclaimed that she overheard the conversation in the kitchen and they were in fact jalepenos - that the manager made the dish himself! Our original waitress never returned. When we asked to speak to the manager, we were told he was too busy to visit our table. We then asked if we could just have one, uncut jalepeno pepper to compare to what was on our plate. The waitress went to get one, but when she came back the waitress exclaimed that they were conveniantly all used! I don't really care about the jalepeno issue--the appetizer really didn't taste too bad (in fact, I was going to get more as my meal!), but being lied to straight to my face while paying money is quite annoying. This was the second time within 3 weeks we've been to this restaurant. Both times the staff were extremely rude. Both times we asked for our bill before actually ordering a main course because of the staff's attitude. Terrible service. I've already told several people about my experiences. It's a shame because the food truly...

If you're looking for an authentic small-town experience with unbeatable food, St. Paul Tavern is the place to be. Known for its legendary fried frog legs, this spot delivers a dish that’s surprisingly lean, flavorful, and downright delicious.

From the moment you walk in, you’re embraced by the warm, hometown charm that defines this establishment. The sense of community and town loyalty is palpable, making it a welcoming stop for locals and visitors alike.

One of the standout features of St. Paul Tavern is its incredible value. In 2025, finding an all-you-can-eat deal for just $15.99 is nearly unheard of, making it possibly the best bargain in the entire state. Whether you're here for a casual meal or a night out with friends, this tavern serves as a fantastic watering hole that perfectly captures the spirit of St. Paul.

If you’re passing through or looking for a unique dining experience, don’t miss out on this hidden gem. St. Paul Tavern is a true treasure where great food, friendly faces, and unbeatable deals come together in the best...

I’ve been to SPT many times and always had a great experience. Earlier today, I was with a group of nine. We ordered and 45 minutes later started questioning a server due to the amount time it was taking. Her immediate response was “it was almost ready”. A few more minutes passed and seven meals were served with one of the 7 incomplete. 5 more minutes passed and we again questioned our server about the remaining meals. She then responded that 2 of our meals were dropped on the floor and they were having to cook them again. 10-15 more minutes passed and finally. It was brought out with no apology or any explanation they wanted to partake in. As we pressed the server a bit, she said the manager went home and there’s no one to talk to. The overall poor service and total lack of communication and management is why I had...

Family room for kids, bar side with full bar and large variety of beers available. Several TVs in both rooms for entertainment while enjoying your meal. Server wasnt overly welcoming but done the job required. Large menu for a small town bar, lots of options that sound great. We wanted a variety so we ordered Chicken Livers, Sidewinder Loaded Fries, Breadsticks with Cheese and Pepperoni/Sausage Pizza. Hubs said the livers were good flavor and hot. Sidewinder Fries were covered with jalapeño cheese and bacon. Breadsticks had a slight garlic taste perfectly paired with the jalapeño cheese. Pizza looked amazing, however it didn't have much flavor. I am hoping it was from all the jalapeño cheese that our taste bubs were overwhelmed but would likely try other items before reordering the pizza again.

Good food in a small town. The wife and I came here while working out of town. She had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich, and I had the pulled pork plate. Both were very delicious, and the portion was plentiful. We also had the potato kegs for an appetizer, which was filling in itself. The had live music going, and we didn't have to wait long to be seated. I would recommend this place for sure.
