Cornerstone Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Stallings

This was my first visit to Cornerstone Pub and Grill. The atmosphere is really upbeat when you walk in as the bar is right at the entrance. Music was playing and the crowd was happy. It was 6:30 pm on a Wednesday night and the bar area was very busy. They have numerous TV's around the restaurant so you have your choice of things to watch.

My son and I went there to eat dinner. We had no problem getting a table and the service was very good the entire time. We split the 20 Wing meal, which was $27.99. We were told there was only 1 flavor of Buffalo sauce and it was only mild. So we decided to get 10 Buffalo and 10 Mango Habenero with a side of fries.

The wings were pretty good, not great. The Buffalo were not hot at all, but had a good flavor. The Mango Habanero had a very good flavor and had a little kick to them. I recommend those over the Buffalo if you like spicy wings.

The only issue I had was the Blue Cheese Dressing. I feel like in order to have a great wing, you must have a good blue cheese. This blue cheese dressing tasted like it came out of the isle at Food Lion. No blue cheese chunks and in my opinion, not good at all! But overall, the wings were good.

The Shoe String Fries were awesome.

I liked the place and will be back. I may not get the wings, but will try something else. I hope the place does well as we needed another restaurant in our area. I look forward to going there for a few beers and relaxing. Good luck...

Before opening a restaurant, develop a menu not only for dishes, but also for drinks (the menu requires visual and internal refinement). The phrase "We just opened" sounded 5 times and that's why you don't have a normal menu? Correct your mistakes as soon as possible.

Food. We ordered a Burger and Philly cheesesteak sub (why 2 small sliced ​​mushrooms? ridiculous), salad and vegetables were fresh. In the Burger, the onion was supposed to be cooked, ours had the onion completely raw (the onion gives the burger a whole different flavor when raw, chefs - wake up).

Service. The girl who served us was a little confused, she had not yet learned the prices for all drinks. It would be easier for her and us if there was a MENU of drinks with prices.

Interior. Nothing special, typical...

It was our first time visiting this restaurant. We were going to sit inside but it was extremely dark, cold and the music was blasting for a lunchtime meal, so we opted to sit outside. None of the umbrellas were even opened up. There was a table under the roof portion that had no sun so it was a perfect place to sit but there was 3 ashtrays on that table. We had the waitress clean it off, she mentioned there were no rags to clean it so she used a napkin. The food was good, wait service was great. If your looking for a dark bar then this is your place. I will not visit again only because I prefer bright and airy...
