China Buffet — Restaurant in Stanford

Friendly service and food is almost always very good. Almost anyway, has a lot to do with what time of day you visit. Because if past lunch, yet before dinner, or after dinner you have a 50/50 shot of coming in to fresh food or the fries up hopes and dreams of of some lifeless shell left from something that was good food long long ago in a galaxy far far away.. although I try to come as close to lunch as possible it's all good then. It's a quite place to eat with some great choices on the buffet. Now we have all heard the stereo types about this type of resteraunt 🙀... Now don't you worry about that for a single second. All of their meat options are labeled as your normal choices, chicken, beef, pork, fish, etc.... every now and then you may get a few cuts that just have a completely different texture.... yes in the back of my mind I'm thinking to myself I wonder what the chances are that this could be a different tryp of meat, but then I'm like I ro uld care anyway because it taste great.. if you do visit make sure to try the hot and sour...

Well we got the food from the buffet and I noticed the pepper chicken or whatever it was, many pieces were raw! I told one of the waitresses and one of the cooks came out and was just going to remove the pieces that were raw, then I told her that you are taking a chance of all of the pan being contaminated and people will get sick so she removed the whole thing! Needless to say I did not get any of that chicken. Me and my husband got to the table to sit down and noticed nothing that was on the buffet was hot at all? So I said nope! Don't want food poisoning. .. if you want to have good reviews, may sure your food is done! Make sure your food tastes good! And make sure that it's hot!!! I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, it was our first and last time there, be careful I...

The food is pretty good compared to a lot of small town Chinese restaurants I've been to. I've been here several times and the food has never been cold, although it has been a bit old a few times but that's mostly due to the fact that I have a bad habit of walking in late when business is slow to non-existent. Definitely better than the places in Danville. Needs remodeling a little but I've personally witnessed the employees cleaning on several occasions so I know its not terribly unsanitary. Most of the staff members are friendly besides the girl that usually runs the register. She's usually pleasant but she has a tendency to blurt unnecessary...
