We stopped at the Drive-In Diner in Stanton, KY, and it was such a cool experience. The diner used to be an old drive-in theater, and the new owners have done an amazing job preserving its history. The movie reels that once ran films have been turned into part of the diner’s design, and they even have original reels displayed on the walls.
The old popcorn maker from the theater is still there and in use—you can grab a bag of popcorn while you wait for your meal, which is such a fun touch! The owners shared some history about the place, and you can really tell they care about keeping that local nostalgia alive.
