You really can’t beat the taste of Aurelio’s cakes -and I don’t really even like cake! We did our first (and last) taste test with him for our wedding and booked him after. I gave him pictures of cake designs I liked and he designed a beautiful cake. He even transported the cake 90 minutes from his business! We choose a white cake for our top two layers and then chocolate with raspberry filling for the bottom layer. I have been trying to get a hold of this bake shop for a good 2 to 3 weeks now. They seemed super helpful at first. They told me they could totally produce a cake for my wedding day coming up next month, but when it came to emailing back and forth pricing and ideas they ghosted me. Impossible to communicate with and will not return any calls or emails. I purchased a 2 layer cake that I do have to say was decorated beautifully. However that’s where it ends. I ordered a white cake with buttercream frosting. The cake was not white maybe vanilla. Unfortunately it was incredibly dry & clearly over baked because the bottoms of the layers were dark brown. The frosting was not buttercream but thick & flavorless.
