Centre Pizza — Restaurant in Sterling

We liked the pizza! Last night we tried the fish n chips. They were the absolute worst we’ve ever had!

The fish wasn’t haddock. Still don’t know what kind it was. One of the orders came with a long filet smothering the fries. Soggy yes very soggy fries! The second order looked like they dropped the fish on the floor and scooped it up with a spatula. It was just a pile of of fish! The order came with a few onion rings. The breading on the fish was very strange. The coleslaw was crap! And was warm like the fish!

We had phoned the order at 5 for pickup at 5:30. We can only guess that the orders sat in the styrofoam containers on top of the over for quite some time.

We threw away the fries. Had one or two onion rings and ate some of the fish. $25 for two orders ? I guess that should have raised a red flag….

They have only a menu on the wall. They have specials on a dry erase board but how would you know what they are?

Don’t buy fish from a pizza shop! I’m not happy with the lack of a menu we can take home. I think that is poor business practice.

They just lost a customer! For good!!

A few weeks back I had some men over the house installing a home spa. It was a cold and grey day and I wanted to make sure they were fed AND that they knew how much I appreciated them. I couldn’t leave, as they require the homeowner be home…..knowing you guys deliver I called and ordered 4 large pizzas (taco, Hawaiian, pepperoni, and a combination w/ a large cheese bread!!!

The men were happy with the pies and I was over the moon happy with the entire experience. From the moment you answered the phone to the moment you delivered the pizzas….there was nothing but courtesy, kindness, and an overall sense of Friendliness from the staff.

Fast forward to Sunday 12/17. I had spent the day traveling back home from Florida and I did not want to cook. So I called you fine people and this time my husband and I decided to try your Fish and Chips platter and the Alfredo with chicken!! AGAIN we were very pleased with the ENTIRE experience.

Being new to Sterling (moved to MA in July) I love knowing that we can support local small businesses and have a great experience from start to finish every time we order.
