This whole area has a bit of character, following a sort of English, high society theme. The bar itself is pretty standardish with a decent patio. Staff is friendly and the prices are very fair. The taps are pretty standard with some craft beers mixed in with the regular domestics.

The food was very good. I had the Firecracker Burger and asked for medium, and it was actually medium. The burger had great flavor and was $9 (no fries).

Sides are a la carte. We got the onion rings and fries. The fries are crispy steak fries and we're great for trying out all the dipping sauces. The onion rings are heavily battered and are crispy! You only get 4 giant onion rings for a half order.

The dipping sauces were what string a chord with me. I love variety and uniqueness and that's what they brought to the table with these dipping sauces. They have 18 types and I tried:

Gunpowder remoulade (best sauce of the 6! Great lil bit of heat and good flavor) Thai chili (great flavor mix) Avocado ranch (tastes like 90% ranch) Truffle mayo (very light flavor) Balsamic mayo (tastes like watered down balsamic) Papaya habnero (tastes like a chutney and not toto much hest for habnero)

Also, the fries come with Fite sauce, which is like Mayo and Ketchup and something else(?), and that's a decent sauce too.

Overall, a great lil spot for some post-round...

We stopped in around 2PM on a Sunday. It was very slow - there were only a few other tables filled in our section.

Our server wasn’t too friendly from the beginning. My wife asked if they could do a side salad (common at restaurants even if it’s not on the menu) and the server pointed us to the house salad for $10. No problem - we’ll pass on that.

I was trying to decide between fries and broccoli for my side, so I asked how big the side of broccoli was. She said it was a “decent sized bowl” and said it was a lot, so I ordered it.

What I got was literally 4 pieces of broccoli in a small bowl. I apologized and said I’d been hoping it would be a bit larger, and wondered if I could get fries instead. Server scowled, didn’t say a word, took the broccoli away and went to order the fries.

No apology or kind words or anything. I don’t even care about paying $6 for a bit of broccoli, but don’t tell me it’s a lot if it’s clearly not! And at least try to be friendly.

This place is overpriced for what you get and they seem to have an attitude. Not...

DO NOT EAT ON THIS PATIO. The servers are aware which pests bother each table. Started off at the bee table (literally had 7 of them swarming us), then we were moved to a different table on the patio (this one was infested with flies once the food showed up). The waitress moved us inside. Fantastic service, average food for the price, terrible ownership from the patio perspective. It's like you're eating next to the dumpsters with the amount of flies and bees. The fact your servers know this and management hasn't done anything to address the issue is the problem here. If it's an issue that you can't do anything about, just don't seat people out there, or be honest about what they'll be experiencing when you're seating them so you have set your guest's expectations. It's Summer, everyone loves eating outside (we get it, there will be bugs) on patios, and I have not had this bad of an experience at any other restaurant this season. Also, a side note-don't serve burgers stacked high with toppings on tiny plates. Overall, a very...

Went here for a birthday dinner with my family. We ate outside and there was quite a crazy amount of flys. I noticed their garbage wasn’t too far away from where we sat and that pretty much explained why. So that was pretty annoying. Again going to mention we sat outside right? My sister and her husband had just come back from their honeymoon and so he has on a pair of hawaii shorts that were pretty darn expensive. literally irreplaceable shorts. he was getting up to leave and the metal chair ripped his new shorts. not to be a Karen or anything but taking 20$ off a bill to excuse the fact of a faulty chair is kinda lame. The server i’m sure, has nothing to do with that. she was nice and felt bad. she took the chair away to get rid of. Just sad about the shorts yanno? anyways.. This photo is the MAHI fish tacos. blah. wasn’t expecting this really. so they were alright. nothing special for 15$ Mac n cheese was alright. again, nothing really special.

We tried to eat here a few weeks ago on a Friday night and there was a long wait. Now I see why. Can I get the recipe please for the asparagus side? Whoah so salty and wonderful char grilled taste! We ended up sitting at the bar because again there was a wait. You feel like you're in some small town Inn perhaps in Vermont or something. Cool vibe but small inside and not a lot of tables. I had the burger substituting chicken and it was the one with the jalapeño bacon. Wonderful. Then I had the asparagus and the sumptuous baked beans. My wife had the pork loin and pasta. So hearty and a big portion plus the pork had a great savory taste. Good beers on tap and our food came pretty fast. The menu has lots of options including pizzas/flat bread, salmon and lettuce wrap entrees, many burgers, and several desserts. Edit: Jan 2024, another great dinner here. The ribs were excellent and so are the tuna tartar tacos.

First time here last night. Glad we made a reservation as it was very busy. Place isn't very big so I would recommend making reservations, especially during dinner hours. Someone in my party ordered the crab cakes appetizer and said they were really good. The table ordered the walleye fish and chips which was 2 huge fillets of walleye in a good ale batter. The lobster mac and cheese which I was told was outstanding. The fish tacos which I was told was also outstanding and I ordered the pot roast skillet. That was also very good with huge, tender chunks of beef with some vegetables, mashed potatoes in a rich gravy. And then for dessert we ordered the strawberry shortcake. Let's just say it could have fed 4 people. And the shortcakes were homemade. Delicious. Service was outstanding and friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone. We will definitely be back.
