I had called earlier in the week to inquire about getting coffee travlers and was told it wouldn’t be a big deal. I even mentioned I wanted to come about 8:30. So I arrive at the store about 8:20ish - def before 8:30 because I was calling another store by that point - and I go in to order travelers to be told all they can make is an Americana because they already started cleaning their machine. Their pastry case was cleaned out already. The machine was in fact taken apart and being cleaned. They used excuses such as “we don’t really get a lot of traffic at this time” and “the machine takes a long time to clean”. If your hours are until 9 PM, then you should have doors open taking orders until 9 PM. Otherwise you need to state that you quit taking orders at a certain time. They were defensive and didn’t change their tune until I mentioned I had called and talked to someone. I only called to ask because you can preorder days in advance. And when I tried to order on the app tonight it wouldn’t take it. I assume because of the dollar amount of the order. So we went to the store. Read moreThis location is regularly overwhelmed and more often than not the service is slow and delayed. You won't know this until you get to the restaurant if you place a mobile order because the staff regularly marks orders as ready for pick-up when they're not (probably to avoid getting in trouble for delayed service from corporate). On a number of occasions (including today) I've placed the mobile order, driven to the store and arrived after the projected time for pickup had passed and the app said the order was ready for pickup. Many of those times have resulted in standing around for 10+ minutes waiting for an order that was supposedly ready for pick-up.
The parking lot is also regularly a mess because it's way too small for the traffic it does.
But honestly all of this is a benefit because it heavily incentivizes me to not spend money at Starbucks on the way to work and instead make the coffee at home or the office. So maybe I should...
Read moreVisited this location a couple months ago. It was early on a weekend. They had no oatmeal or other breakfast items. Took 20 minutes to get a croissant. Asked for it to be warmed. It came out cold so asked to be warmed again. Took another 10 minutes. Staff seemed didn’t know what they were doing. Visited a second time early on a Saturday morning giving another chance. The ice vanilla latte was the worst ever had. No flavor and only bitter. Asked to be remade but they put more vanilla in it. It still had little taste but kept anyway. Also ordered an oatmeal and found out after they have zero utensils. Guess supposed to use fingers or drink it. Staff just in a tizzy running around unapologetic.
