The food smells very good and the kitchen staff was quick and efficient, however the lady who runs the counter needs to be aware of being receptive to constructive feedback. I showed up as a DoorDash contractor at 11:45 am to pick up an order. She advised me DoorDash didnât schedule order pickup until 12:30. I advised her I would call the customer to verify if they minded having their lunch prepared earlier than scheduled, and she seemed hesitant to prepare the order ahead. I once again assured her I would make sure with the customer what they prefer. The customer opted to have their order prepared right away. I simply suggested that she have someone contact DoorDash merchant services to correct the issue of scheduling - dispatch conflict to avoid further issues in the future that can result in loss of money for the business. She got defensive and was hostile from that moment forward insisting this would not reflect on the business, but DoorDash. The breakdown however says otherwise. If DoorDash is not aware of scheduling conflicts, this results in cancellations. She rebutted that DoorDash will just dispatch another driver. The problem with that is, say you prepare the order on the time youâre scheduled and it doesnât align with dispatch, now the food is sitting cold because the orig assigned driver cancels for excessive wait time since DoorDash doesnât pay fair for our time as is, and they then have to negotiate another driver which is unpredictable time. So as that goes on, the customers food is now cold. Now the customer is filing a complaint. And I can assure you DoorDash will not take accountability, but will discontinue merchant contract with the restaurant due to too many negative reviews. So I leave this review to say, be receptive when someone is trying to help you because you may end up hurting your own business and remain professional and hospitable because you wonât have returning customers being biased and a...
Read moreI have to say, I have never left a 1 star review before so this is a tough one for me...but, I feel it is justified in this instance. I placed my order online at 7pm with an estimated wait time of 30 minutes. Received a confirmation text that the order was received and should be ready around 7:36pm, and that I would get another text when the order was ready. I got that text at 7:37pm, arrived at 7:40pm, and was told at the counter it would be ready in 5-7 minutes. No big deal. I waited in my car, went back in 7 minutes later, only to discover my order was still not ready. Customer after customer came and went with their orders as I sat there looking confused but trying to be patient after being told multiple times "let me go check on your sandwiches!" Mind you, my pizza was ready the moment I arrived. They, at least, kept it on the "warmer" for me. Finally, 25 minutes AFTER I received the text my order was ready, it came out. I was told the wait was because I ordered hot sandwiches, they aren't prepared until you arrive because they cannot keep them in a warmer. I didn't understand the point of the text stating it was ready, but I didnt make a big fuss....until I got home less than 10 minutes later. The pizza was COLD, not even close to warm. I had to put it in the oven to melt the cheese again because it was hard. The "hot" sandwiches were just barely warm and nothing to rave about either, sadly.
Maybe my experience may have been better if dining in, or only ordering pizza to go. đŤ¤
